The ecohippies will be quite happy with this plan by the Massachusetts AG to use law enforcement to compel compliance with the Paris climate agreement, which is not a law, but rather, a proposal and not much else. There is no punishment, as in fines of some sort, for not falling in line and doing the lockstep.<\/p>\n

This individual and those who are supporting her are absolutely nuts. I want to see this asinine business go into and through a real court of law, as it is NOT a law that is applicable to the state of Massachusetts nor is it anything but a loose-goose proposal to \u201csave the World From the Destruction of Climate Change\u201d. It is, in fact, not legal nor is it even a binding agreement.<\/p>\n

In fact, there is NOTHING in the Paris Climate Treaty\/Accord that makes it anything other than a \u201cgentlemen\u2019s agreement\u201d \u2013 in effect, a social contract with no real authority.<\/p>\n

It is not a law, but she is certainly treating it as if it were. It has no binding authority in this country. No state government is obligated to follow it. But this particular Massachusetts AG not only intends to use the cops to enforce compliance with something that is not a law, but she also intends to extend that enforcement to other states. She is looking to Bloomberg to fund her rampage, through the use of “special attorneys general” from his side of the fence. He and AlGore are in that class of people who think that climate is the same as weather (it is not) and who seldom spend any real time out in the woodlands looking for wildflowers. Very likely, they never go fishing, either, especially when it’s ice fishing season.<\/p>\n

She\u2019s on a roll here, no doubt with an eye to making a Big Name for herself in political circles. She\u2019s got Bloomberg on her list of \u201cfriends with money\u201d and is just as much the control freak that he is. They were made for each other and\u00a0 definitely belong together.<\/p>\n

I strongly suggest that since this may likely blow up in her face, we just get out of the way and let her and her herd of walruses leap off a cliff of their own making.<\/p>\n
