SEVERAL SHOTS FIRED INSIDE APARTMENT IN ST. CLOUD FRIDAY<\/strong><\/p>\n By Nathan Daggett The St. Cloud Police Department responded to a call just before 4 p.m. in the 1200 block of East St. Germain for a report of a man threatening other residents in the building with a gun. <\/p>\n The man fled the scene prior to the officer\u2019s arrival, but was identified as 39-year-old Michael Walton of St. Cloud. <\/p>\n Four hours later, officers were called back to the same location for a report of shots fired inside of the hallway of the apartment. <\/p>\n The investigation revealed that a 24-year-old man who was a relative of the residents who were threatened with a gun earlier, had come to the building to bring his family to an alternate location.<\/p>\n Walton encountered the man and fired several shots at him. The man returned fire in self-defense and struck Walton, causing a non-life-threatening injury. The man then called police.<\/p>\n Walton fed the area again and was eventually arrested by officers nearby. <\/p><\/blockquote>\n 0 \/ 1 \/ 0 Warehouse owner shoots and kills possible trespasser, police say<\/strong><\/p>\n A man is dead after a business owner claims he was trespassing at a southwest Houston warehouse.<\/p>\n Houston police officers found the man dead just after midnight at the warehouse on South Post Oak near Heatherbrook.<\/p>\n Investigators say the business owner confronted the man, and at some point opened fire.<\/p>\n It is unclear if the suspect was trespassing or possibly attempting to burglarize the location.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n 1 \/ 0 \/ 0 “The pool of guns that get turned in in buybacks are simply not the same guns that would otherwise have been used in crime.” \u2014 Harvard professor David Kennedy, as reported on FoxNews<\/p><\/blockquote>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
