The gals at Code Pink aren’t feeling the love these days. Apparently, they’ve decided to take the unpopular position of forcing Obama to withdraw from Afghanistan by trying to convince Congress to vote against the apprpriation bill for the Iraq and Afghanistan wars. They were told by Congressman Emanuel Cleaver “Did you know that President Obama is more popular than Jesus Christ?. I didn’t like this bill, but I voted for it. It’s hard to stand up to such a popular president.”<\/p>\n

Yeah, all of the reps they talked to were afraid of voting against Obama, but they oppose the war and they encouraged Code Pink to remain pathetic bozos for a lost cause. That’s what passes for principles on the Left, I suppose.<\/p>\n
