Police: Man Dead Following Officer-Involved Shooting In Suffolk County<\/strong><\/p>\n

A man is dead following a police officer-involved shooting on Long Island.<\/p>\n

Suffolk County police said they were investigating a domestic incident on Towne Woods Road in Coram at around 5:40 p.m. on Monday when the incident occurred.<\/p>\n

According to police, a woman reported her intoxicated ex-boyfriend was refusing to leave her apartment.<\/p>\n

Officers encountered the man in the garage armed with a knife. They say they continually told him to drop the weapon, until he closed in on an officer, who opened fire.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

An attempted robbery ends with the robber killed, Montgomery police say<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nA 38-year-old Montgomery man who police accused of committing a robbery was fatally shot during the robbery attempt early Friday, according to a Montgomery police news release.<\/p>\n

Police have launched a death investigation after Timothy Rollins was shot in the 5900 block of Monticello Drive, according to the news release. Medics and investigators found Rollins after a report of a robbery and a man shot about 3:47 a.m.<\/p>\n

He was taken to a hospital where he later died.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
