Fox Sports\u2019 top NFL broadcast team mocked military flyovers before Sunday\u2019s featured game, calling them a wasteful exercise that Democrats wouldn\u2019t do.<\/p>\n
In hot-mic footage released by Defector Media \u2014 the offshoot of the defunct Deadspin \u2014 Joe Buck and Troy Aikman ridicule the practice of having the Pentagon\u2019s jets fly over NFL stadiums before kickoffs.<\/p>\n
\u201cThat\u2019s a lot of jet fuel just to do a little flyover,\u201d Mr. Aikman said.<\/p>\n
Mr. Buck responded: \u201cThat\u2019s your hard-earned money and your tax dollars at work!\u201d<\/p>\n
Mr. Aikman then implied that the spectacle of military flyovers is a Republican practice, while getting wrong the order of the Democratic presidential ticket.<\/p>\n
\u201cThat stuff ain\u2019t happening with [a] Kamala-Biden ticket. I\u2019ll tell you that right now, partner,\u201d he told Mr. Buck.<\/p>\n
The exchange took place before Sunday\u2019s broadcast of the game between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Green Bay Packers \u2014 a heavily promoted matchup of Hall-of-Fame-bound quarterbacks Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers.<\/p>\n
