Joe Biden wants cops to be trained to shoot people in the leg instead of center mass.\u00a0Like, man, he\u2019s such an expert that he fires the shotgun off the balcony at his house, right?<\/p>\n

During an\u00a0ABC News town hall\u00a0Thursday, Biden gave the\u00a0shooting advice while talking about broader police reforms,\u00a0which have been on the public conscience since\u00a0the\u00a0killing\u00a0of George Floyd<\/a>\u00a0sparked nationwide racial unrest.<\/p>\n

“There’s a lot of things we’ve learned and it takes time, but we can do this,” Biden said. “You can ban chokeholds … you have to teach people how to de-escalate circumstances. … Instead of anybody coming at you and the first thing you do is shoot to kill, you shoot them in the leg.” – article<\/p>\n

I notice two things: he\u2019s NOT antigun in this proposal; in addition, he thinks he knows more than professional law enforcement people on what cops should do.<\/p>\n
