Washington state woman accused of hiring teen to kill ex-husband in murder-for-hire plot<\/strong>
\nCops say Shaerin Kelley purchased a GPS device to track her husband<\/em><\/p>\n

Washington state police have accused a woman of hiring a teenage hitman to whack her ex-husband –who survived after being shot nine times.<\/p>\n

Authorities say Shaerin Kelley, 30, agreed to pay the 17-year-old $13,000 to murder her former spouse, Baron Li, who was shot in July in Bellevue, according to KOMO-TV.<\/p>\n

Court documents paint a deliberate and disturbing murder-for-hire scheme, the station reported.<\/p>\n

Bellevue police announced the arrests of Kelley and the teen on attempted murder charges Friday.<\/p>\n

Jury finds woman acted in self-defense in 2019 shooting that led to a man’s death<\/strong>
\nSterling Parker was shot outside of Walle Rockets Bar in Oct. 2019 after allegedly intervening in a fight between Hankins and his sister.<\/em><\/p>\n

Shantoria Hankins has been found not guilty on charges stemming from an incident that left a man dead last year outside of a west Toledo bar.<\/p>\n

Hankins had been charged with the Oct. 2019 shooting death of Sterling Parker at Walle Rockets Bar at Upton and Sylvania. She was in court Friday morning.<\/p>\n

Here is what the jury found:<\/p>\n

COUNT 1 – MURDER: Not guilty.
\nCOUNT 2 – MURDER: Guilty, however, the jury found that Hankins was acting in self-defense.
\nCOUNTY 3 – FELONIOUS ASSUALT: Guilty, however, the jury found that Hankins was, again, acting in self-defense.
\nWitnesses the night of the shooting on Oct. 23, 2019, said it all stemmed from a fight outside between two women.<\/p>\n

One of the women involved was Parker’s sister.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
