\nA Chicago woman was arrested after she allegedly chased and tried to hit several police officers with her car because they were pulling over someone she knew, officials said Thursday.<\/p>\n

Dawn Moore, 30, was charged on Wednesday evening with nine felonies after her run-in with police hours earlier, the Chicago Police Department said in a press release. Moore, a Chicago resident, allegedly interrupted a police stop on South State Street shortly before 11 a.m., when she pulled up in her 2020 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon SUV.<\/p>\n

According to police, a woman, later identified as Moore, \u201cpulled up and told officers that the man they had pulled over was someone she knew and she demanded the officers to let him go.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Suspected Burglar Shot Breaking Into Home In Broken Arrow<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nA man is in the hospital on Wednesday morning after he was shot by a homeowner during a break-in in Broken Arrow.
\nBroken Arrow Police said the homeowner confronted the man and shot him twice. Detectives said the men knew each other and had a dispute.<\/p>\n

According to Broken Arrow police, they received a call about a possible burglary a little after 8 p.m. Tuesday night near the area of South Ash Place. Police said when they arrived at the home they found that the homeowner had shot the suspect that came into the house.<\/p>\n

The suspect was shot in the upper torso and taken to the hospital for serious injuries, according to police.<\/p>\n

“We do have a 41-year-old man in custody, he’s going to be charged when the paperwork is submitted to the DA with first-degree burglary. He does have two gunshot wounds but is in stable condition,” Chris Walker with Broken Arrow Police said.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
