From the Fox article:\u00a0FBI officials who were involved in the Russia investigation should be\u00a0“very worried” following the news that a key\u00a0source for the infamous Steele dossier was under investigation over\u00a0suspected contact with\u00a0Russia<\/a>,\u00a0Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C.,<\/a>\u00a0told\u00a0“Hannity”<\/a>\u00a0Thursday.<\/p>\n

“It makes me mad that the FBI knew that the primary sub-source, a single individual, was a suspected Russian agent,” Graham, the chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, told host Sean Hannity. “They used that person’s work product to get a warrant against an American citizen on four different occasions. They never informed the court of this exculpatory evidence.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Graham added that it was important to note that Connecticut U.S. Attorney John Durham, who is leading the investigation into the origins of the Russia probe, “has already investigated this matter.”<\/p>\n

“So there’s some people tonight that have to be very worried, because now we know the FBI — in December 2016 — knew that the dossier was being prepared by a Russian agent. They never told the court.”<\/p>\n

Graham described the dossier as “a massive effort by\u00a0Russia to do a disinformation\u00a0campaign against the Trump\u00a0campaign, and it worked. Bottom line, is the FBI used a\u00a0document prepared by a Russian agent —\u00a0paid for by the Democratic Party — to get a warrant against the Trump campaign, and the only place you’re going to hear about that is probably on this show.<\/p>\n

“I hope this is a game-changer,” he added. “I hope that the traditional media, the mainstream media will look at this abuse of power.” – article<\/p>\n

Now, before you all go off half-cocked and start shooting at squirrels, remember that corruption in government, including at the federal level, is nothing new.\u00a0 If you remember the Watergate hearings and how Nixon knew about the break-in and approved of it, and you dig into the history of government anywhere at the federal level, it is nothing new at all. Historically, it has gone on for as long as humans decided to set up someone to run things so that they could go back to hunting Irish deer dire wolves, and mammoths. The bad leaders frequently outshine the good leaders.<\/p>\n

However, in reference to Graham’s wish that this changes things, it probably won’t make a real difference until or unless the more\/most corrupt political animals in WDC are sent packing and\/or drop dead in their tracks, and the likelihood of the latter is slim. It’s more likely that some of that bunch will be found one morning, sitting at their desks, eyes wide open and staring straight ahead, with a firm and impenetrable grasp on whatever spurs them to keep going, whether it’s a gavel or a name plate or a rostrum.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
