According to the ad, if you <em>don&#8217;t<\/em> support racial discrimination, then you&#8217;re like one of those Neo-Nazis that marched on Charlottesville. See for yourself;<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/2NiPdd-bfNc\" width=\"480\" height=\"260\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>The video is rife with lies, and spreads the thoroughly debunked lie that women make less than men for the same work. That would be illegal under federal law and has been for decades.<\/p>\n<p>What Prop 16 would do is once again allow state and local government, education, and contracting decisions be influenced by &#8220;race, sex, color, ethnicity, or national origin.&#8221; It seeks to repeal Proposition 209, passed by voters in 1996.<\/p>\n<p>Prop 16 is opposed by those who think that racial discrimination is a bad thing, like black civil rights activist Ward Connerly and many Asian American groups in the state. It is interesting though that we have a sitting US Senator and the Democratic Party&#8217;s vice presidential candidate in favor of allowing the government to discriminate based on immutable characteristics. I think this might be like when Harris touted a &#8220;Harris Administration&#8221; in a campaign event last week.
