Armed employee shoots suspect during attempted robbery at Norman pharmacy, police say<\/strong><\/p>\n An armed employee shot a suspect Wednesday afternoon during an attempted robbery at a Norman pharmacy, police said.<\/p>\n Shortly after 4:20 p.m., police responded to a report of a shooting at Sooner Pharmacy in the 1800 block of West Lindsey Street. When officers arrived, they found a man with a gunshot wound inside the business.<\/p>\n The man was taken to an area hospital. His condition has not been released.<\/p>\n Police said an initial investigation shows that the man entered the pharmacy with a firearm and was in the process of robbing it when he was shot by an armed employee. Only one shot was fired, and no one else was hurt.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n 0 \/ 1 \/ 0 Home intruder shot by victim in Mesa<\/strong><\/p>\n By: Hector Gonzales Officers were called to a home near Alma School Road and University Drive just before 4:00 a.m. for reports of a home invasion.<\/p>\n When they arrived a male suspect was found with a gunshot wound.<\/p>\n Authorities with the Mesa Police Department say a woman was at home alone when the man made his way inside. She was able to fire a weapon at the intruder, striking him.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
