\nThe woman said she won\u2019t be as nice should she face the same situation again<\/em><\/p>\n

An Oregon woman was captured on video holding a suspected arsonist at gunpoint on Saturday after she allegedly caught him on her property carrying only matches.<\/p>\n

\u201cGet on the floor, right now, face down! What are you doing on my property?\u201d Cast shouts at the man. \u201cDid you light anything on fire?\u201d<\/p>\n

When the man tells her he was \u201cjust passing through,\u201d she asks why he is holding matches. The man tells her the matches were for smoking, but he later admitted he had no cigarettes. Cast holds him at gunpoint until police arrive.<\/p>\n

Amid accusations that the video was fake or staged, Cast wrote on Facebook that the incident \u201ctruly did happen and there is nothing fake about it.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI will tell you something though if I need to do this again to protect my family and my neighbors, I will in a heartbeat do it again, except this time I will not be as nice as I was.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

UPDATE<\/span> Des Moines police identify 16-year-old killed in shooting police say was justified<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Des Moines police have identified the teenager who died in an early morning shooting on the city\u2019s north side. Police said the shooter acted in justifiable self-defense.<\/p>\n

Officers were dispatched to the 1400 block of 13th Street, between Clark Street and Forest Avenue at about 5:45 a.m. The caller reported that he had been approached by two armed teenagers who attempted to rob him and he shot them in self-defense, according to police.<\/p>\n

Authorities said detectives learned that both teens were armed with handguns and approached the victim and demanded that he empty his pockets. The robbery victim, a concealed weapon permit holder, drew his weapon and shot both of the suspects.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
