Investigation ongoing after homeowner shoots alleged intruder in St. Landry Parish<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nThe St. Landry Parish Sheriff\u2019s Department is investigating certain actions taken by a homeowner against a suspect during a home burglary.<\/p>\n

Sheriff Bobby Guidroz says, \u201cWe received a call from neighbors about a house being burglarized and that shots were fired.\u201d<\/p>\n

It happened just outside the town of Washington, where Sheriff Guidroz says there has been a string of burglarized homes.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe did arrest a burglary suspect with a lengthy criminal history,\u201d Sheriff Guidroz adds.<\/p>\n

He says the investigation is ongoing due to shots fired from the homeowner at the suspect.<\/p>\n

The suspect was not hit.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Police: Resident shoots & kills intruder in NE Baltimore home invasion<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nA resident shot and killed an intruder during a home invasion in northeast Baltimore early this morning, confirmed city police.<\/p>\n

It happened at about 2:09 a.m. on Marx Avenue near Simms Avenue, in the Moravia\/Belair Road area.<\/p>\n

Investigators said a 20-year-old man had just broken into the home when he was confronted by someone who lived there.<\/p>\n

The resident took out a gun and shot the intruder.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
