The interview below with Nancy Pelosi as the interviewee originally appeared on MSNBC in August this year.<\/p>\n

At that time, Pelosi said \u201cthey are the enemies of the state\u201d. None of the lamestream media carried it. They swept it under the rug. Perhaps it was too radical a statement, even for them.<\/p>\n

How very, very timid of them. It must have been too much to put in print, but it is libelous, and no matter how hard the lamestream media try to be the imperatores of something or other, they aren’t the Stasi.<\/p>\n

In case you don’t know who those charming souls were, they were part of East Germany’s “spy on everyone” group. On 8 February 1950, East Germany saw the establishment of the Ministry for State Security (Ministerium f\u00fcr Staatssicherheit), commonly known as the Stasi. \u00a0The Stasi sought to “know everything about everyone”, because everyone was the Enemy of the State. And everyone could be thrown into jail or simply disappear into nothing. Stalin did that too, with the KGB.<\/p>\n

But I digress.<\/p>\n

Per the article:\u00a0 \u00a0Pelosi made the comments during an interview on MSNBC, suggesting that Russia isn’t the only one who will be interfering in the upcoming election.<\/p>\n

“The Russians were there and they are there now 24\/7 trying to interfere in our election, but they’re not the only ones,” Pelosi said. “We take an oath to protect and defend the Constitution from all enemies,\u00a0foreign and domestic. And sadly, the domestic enemies to our voting system and our honoring of the Constitution are right at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue with their allies in the Congress of the United States.”<\/p>\n

She later continued, “They\u2019re doing everything they can [to] suppress the vote with their actions, scare people, intimidate by saying law enforcement will be there, diminish the role of the postal system in all of this. It’s quite clear that she hates Trump with every brittle bone in her body. There is no basis in reality for what she said, other than her need to find fault with the smallest thing and let us all know how threatened she feels. But if that remark was swept under the rug by her usual support outlets, it implies that even they think she went too far.<\/p>\n
