Donald Trump so hated Barack Obama that he hired a look-alike to sit in his office so he could “fire” him, according to claims in a new book from the president’s former lawyer, Michael Cohen.<\/p>\n

In\u00a0Disloyal<\/em>, out on Tuesday, Mr Cohen alleges\u00a0that his old boss was\u00a0\u201ca cheat, a liar, a fraud, a bully, a racist, a predator, a con man.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

High praise from a convicted tax cheat, campaign finance violator, and one of the rare few people to be convicted of lying to Congress.<\/p>\n

The lawyer, 54, is\u00a0currently under house arrest, having been freed from prison early during the coronavirus pandemic. He was sentenced to three years in December 2018 after pleading guilty to tax evasion and campaign finance violations – crimes he alleged were a result of covering up for Mr Trump’s “dirty deeds”.<\/p>\n

In a photo included in the book, Mr Trump is seen seated at his desk across from the alleged “Faux-Bama”, wearing a suit with an American flag pin.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

House Speaker\u00a0Nancy Pelosi, who was\u00a0accused by critics last week of using her platform to damage\u00a0a local\u00a0hair salon owner<\/a>\u00a0in San Francisco, was called out on Monday over a tweet she posted celebrating the \u201chard-working families\u201d across the U.S. on Labor Day.<\/p>\n

\u201cOver generations, working people across America built the middle class and secured progress for hard-working families,\u201d Pelosi wrote. \u201cHouse Democrats are unified in our commitment to America\u2019s working families. Happy #LaborDay!\u201d<\/p>\n

The tweet didn’t sit well with some commenters who pointed to her recent visit to a hair salon. Security footage obtained by Fox News, time-stamped last Monday at 3:08 p.m., showed the speaker walking through ESalonSF with wet hair\u00a0and without a mask.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
