Easy and so good- the best part? You know exactly what’s in them.<\/p>\n

You’ll Need:<\/strong>
\n\u2022\t1 lb ground pork
\n\u2022\t2 teaspoons dried sage
\n\u2022\t1 teaspoon dried marjoram
\n\u2022\t1 teaspoon brown sugar
\n\u2022\t1 teaspoon kosher salt
\n\u2022\t1\/2 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
\n\u2022\t1\/2 teaspoon granulated garlic
\n\u2022\t\u00bc teaspoon dried thyme
\n\u2022\tpinch cayenne
\n\u2022\t2 tablespoons cold water<\/p>\n

You’ll Do:<\/strong>
\nCombine all in a mixing bowl, using either an electric mixer or your own impeccably clean hands. Pinch off a teaspoon and form into a patty, fry it up and test for seasonings. I like mine with more sage and a some more zip- ground chipotle is a nice addition. Make the patties biscuit size, and the renderings in the fry pan make a great base for gravy. Hot, fresh brewed coffee is the quaff of choice here. Make these and you won’t go back to store-bought.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
