Coming as no surprise, today the the nation\u2019s largest police union, the Fraternal Order of Police (FOP), announced it is endorsing Trump, and praised him for his calls for law and order. Trump has made support for the police a major point of his reelection campaign.<\/p>\n
By: CHARLIE SPIERING<\/strong><\/p>\n The Fraternal Order of Police on Friday endorsed President Donald Trump for re-election in 2020.<\/p>\n The endorsement was made through canvassing the more than 355,000 members throughout the country, according to a release from the union.<\/p>\n National President Patrick Yoes said that the endorsement was unanimous.<\/p>\n \u201cPresident Trump has shown time after time that he supports our law enforcement officers and understands the issues our members face every day,\u201d Yoes said in a statement. \u201cThe FOP is proud to endorse a candidate who calls for law and order across our nation. He has the full and enthusiastic support of the FOP.\u201d<\/p>\n The police union received responses to a questionnaire from both Trump\u2019s campaign and that of former Vice President Joe Biden and sent them to their members.
