That headline is a tad misleading. A “clash” usually means someone shot at someone else, or picked a fight in person and the other guy beat his ass.\u00a0 This comes off more like schoolyard bullying, where the class dork goes around punching the other boys from behind and yanking the girls’ hair. It’s more like a 2nd grader than a national military.<\/p>\n

From the article:\u00a0\u00a0WASHINGTON \u2014 In the most violent skirmish in months between U.S. and Russian forces in Syria, a vehicle collision in the eastern part of the war-torn country left American troops with concussions, two U.S. officials said Wednesday.<\/p>\n

One official said Russian vehicles sideswiped a light-armored U.S. military vehicle, injuring four Americans. The official said two Russian helicopters flew above the Americans, and one of the aircraft was within about 70 feet the vehicle.<\/p>\n

National Security Council spokesman John Ullyot said in a statement that a Russian vehicle struck the American vehicle near Dayrick, in northeast Syria. – article<\/p>\n

Not being a newsy embedded with the troops for firsthand info and updates, I can only guess what is really going on there, but it is logical to ask just what is going on here. Is Vlad up to something (likely) or are these Russische soldats doing this on their own? Hazing one vehicle, bumping into it, and buzzing it with choppers is really cheap in the realm of cheap tricks. Maybe they’re doing this because of the upcoming election episode and want to let us know that they are there in Syria, too.<\/p>\n
