Here comes the old trope comparing firearm ownership as compensating for a lack of manhood, this time spouted by an Illinois Democrat politician. You know, one of the elite who don’t actually possess firearms, but is protected by those who do. <\/p>\n

Democrat Congressman Blames Gun Ownership on \u2018Small Genitals\u2019<\/strong> Over the weekend Rep. Sean Casten (D-IL) suggested militia service is the litmus test for gun ownership and noted that \u201chaving small genitals is not sufficient reason to own a gun.\u201d<\/p>\n Casten\u2019s comments were captured by his challenger, West Point graduate Jeanne Ives (R).<\/p>\n Ives responded to Casten\u2019s comments, \u201cMaybe [he] thinks overgrown frat boys are cool\u2026[but] on behalf of women everywhere: overgrown frat boys are not cool. They are pathetic, and they can\u2019t be trusted to make sound decisions on other people\u2019s lives. It is clear he is not the moderate we were sold in 2018. It\u2019s well past time that Sean Casten answered for his deeply concerning rhetoric and radical policy positions.\u201d<\/p>\n It is a hallmark of the left to equate the right to gun ownership with militia service. But on February 1, 2018, Breitbart News noted that the Second Amendment\u2019s mention of a \u201cwell regulated Militia\u201d is foundational to the individual right to keep and bear arms.<\/p>\n For example, we must understand that the individual right to keep and bear arms is not in spite of the mention of a militia but because of it. In other words, because the militia played a key role in the Founders\u2019 minds, and is intended to play a key role even now, the right to possess arms, with which to gather in militia, \u201cshall not be infringed.\u201d<\/p>\n If the people come together to fend off a tyranny, but lack arms, what shall they do, throw stones?<\/p><\/blockquote>\n Come and take them, soy-boi.
