As if life in North Korea couldn’t get any worse. The poor (literally) people of North Korea have been experiencing a famine for years. Their access to such modern conveniences like electricity, cars, and the Internet are either non-existent or extremely limited. Now, they get one less thing to help them cope.<\/p>\n
The Supreme Leader himself, the gout-riddled Kim Jong-un, has ordered all pet dogs in Pyongyang confiscated and killed. Pet dogs represent a form of “decadence” and are part of a \u2018tainted\u2019 trend by bourgeois ideology.\u2019\u2019<\/p>\n
The government has identified all houses with the forbidden pets and is now going around and collecting them. Many residents fear that their pets are being turned into food, with the widespread food shortages that have occurred in NK for a while now, as well as the reported taste some in the country have for dog flesh.<\/p>\n
Dogs are not man’s best friend in that communist paradise. Zoo animals were on the table not too long ago in that Central American communist utopia too. Here we are stuck with eating “regular” meat like the capitalist scum that we are.<\/p>\n
