A Seattle NPR weatherman lost his job because he compared the rioters in Seattle and the destruction they created to the Kristallnacht events and the Nazis bunch of thugs, those anarchic creatures the Brownshirts, and later, the Storm Source (Sturmabteilung). And the people of Germany watched and stood silent while their neighbors\u2019 lives were destroyed.\u00a0 The cycle of this mess is not done yet. I haven’t kept tabs on where and how much destruction of property and other bad behavior is going on, but it seems to be reserved to the larger cities. The most recent example of it was the Sunday midnight looting and pillaging in Chicago, starting on the south side and moving northward in a caravan, lasting well into Monday morning. The side effects to that will last a while. I’d like to see Portland’s maire really have his backside handed to him, but that’s just me.\u00a0 Ergo, if a Seattle weatherman offends the delicate sensibilities of his employers at NPR, my response is that he’s closer to the truth than NPR is willing to admit… and they know it… and they are the enablers this time.<\/p>\n

I would have a bit more sympathy and respect for him if he had stuck to his guns and looked for work elsewhere. He needs to “man up” a bit, instead of running off.
