Oh, now<\/em> the Mayor of Portland, OR, is upset because his beeyootiful city is being torn apart by the raggedy-man protesters and it\u2019s all Trump\u2019s fault because they work for him and he\u2019s just all butthurt about it\u2026.<\/p>\n

(AP) \u2014 The mayor of Portland, Oregon, a city wracked by nearly 70 consecutive nights of unrest, on Thursday angrily denounced those who attempted to set a police precinct on fire with officers stationed inside as props in President Donald Trump’s reelection campaign and said those individuals were not protesters, but criminals.<\/p>\n

“You are not demonstrating, you are attempting to commit murder,” Mayor Ted Wheeler said in hastily called news conference alongside Portland Police Chief Chuck Lovell. (Yes, those are his words<\/em><\/strong>.)<\/p>\n

“Don’t think for a moment that you are if you are participating in this activity, you are not being a prop for the reelection campaign of Donald Trump \u2014 because you absolutely are,” he said. “You are creating the B-roll film that will be used in ads nationally to help Donald Trump during this campaign. Okay, sure, blame someone who isn\u2019t standing next to you for your own mistakes. He could have stopped this before it started, but isn\u2019t THIS mayor the same mayor who went out into the streets and joined the protesters?<\/p>\n

From the print article:\u00a0 PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) \u2013 Portland Mayor Ted Wheeler joined large crowds of protesters near the Justice Center in Portland Wednesday night.<\/p>\n

This is the first time that Wheeler has been among protesters since federal officers arrived in Portland in the beginning of July.<\/p>\n

Wheeler held a listening session and was passing around a microphone and responding to protesters\u2019 comments.<\/p>\n

One asked Wheeler if he would commit to work towards abolishing the Portland Police Bureau.<\/p>\n

Wheeler answered, \u201cNo, I do not support that,\u201d and then received boos from the crowd.<\/p>\n

He talked about supporting the Black Lives Matter movement and talked about how federal officers need to get out of Portland.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf they launched the tear gas against you, they\u2019re launching the tear gas against me. We are a community. Here\u2019s what I think about the federal government being in our city. They were not asked to be here. They are not wanted here. They\u2019re not property trained to be here. And we are asking them\u2026 we\u2019re demanding that they leave. We demand that the federal government stop occupying our city,\u201d Wheeler said. – article<\/p>\n

He was so with them<\/em>, wasn\u2019t he?\u00a0\u00a0He didn\u2019t seem quite so butthurt back then, did he?<\/p>\n

Isn\u2019t amazing how short-term memory loss seems to affect some people when they\u2019re trying to suck up to someone, and then they switch gears later on when things are not as hunky-dory as they thought they\u2019d be. I’d just like to know if he’s from the same planet we’re on, or if he’s really a space alien who thought he could hide amongst us while The Overlords of The Galaxy work to destroy us. My opinion is unprintable, because 4-year-olds might see it and say some of the bad words they’re not supposed to know just yet.<\/p>\n

On another note, I\u2019m still concerned about that retired sailor whose house is a block from Portland\u2019s town hall. I hope he\u2019s okay, but haven\u2019t found anything on him so far.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
