She&#8217;s now looking to force the NRA, founded in 1871 in New York and still registered there, to dissolve. This is the toughest sanction should can pursue.<\/p>\n<p>There are 5.5 million members of the NRA. Compared that to other leading civil rights organizations like the NAACP (500k) and the ACLU (1.2m).<\/p>\n<p>I don&#8217;t expect the NRA to back down, as this is only the latest attack from the politicians at the top in New York.
