CNSNews caught up with crooner Tony Bennett <\/a>last week at the Smithsonian Museum, where he donated a painting he did of Duke Ellington, in commemoration of the jazz legend’s 110th birthday.\u00a0 Many artists, musicians, actors, etc, are great at what they do.\u00a0 But with rare exceptions, when it comes to the real world,\u00a0many of them\u00a0don’t know their ass from a hole in the ground, as Bennett proves in story below.<\/p>\n

Grammy-award winning musician Tony Bennett told CNSNews.com he \u201cloves everything\u201d Barack Obama has done in his first 100 days as president and thinks every American should \u201cgive him all-out support for anything he wants to do.\u201d

\nBennett further said that Americans should imitate the other countries of the world that support Obama. \u201cI really hope that every citizen of the United States would imitate the rest of the world because they\u2019re all for Obama,\u201d said Bennett. \u201cEvery other country adores what happened \u2013 in our great country \u2013 to have him as president.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Since when do\u00a0Americans ever have to follow what the rest of the world thinks?\u00a0 Only in the minds of liberals like Bennett, who have this fascination\u00a0with Europeans. We know Tony Bennett has conempt for\u00a0America, calling us\u00a0“culturally void” back in 2006<\/a>, while stating Europe and Asia have contributed more to the world than America.\u00a0<\/p>\n

He also told CNSNews.<\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u201c…I love everything he\u2019s done and everything he\u2019s doing,\u201d Bennett said of Obama. \u201cI think we should give him all-out support for anything he wants to do. We should all help. He\u2019s giving our country back to us, and that\u2019s the laws of the land \u2013 the citizens own the country.\u201d\u00a0<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Oh great!\u00a0 Mortgage the future of our children and grandchildren, close Gitmo, put the security of al-Qaeda ahead of the safety of Americans.\u00a0 Yes, Tony, let’s all be good little sheeple,\u00a0repeating\u00a0YES-WE-CAN-HOPE-AND-CHANGE-O-BA-MA,\u00a0while Obama, Reid and Pelosi take\u00a0our nation from us.\u00a0But the next response is telling, when Bennett is asked\u00a0name just one thing he likes that Obama has done.<\/p>\n

His answer?<\/p>\n

\u201cFirst of all, I think he\u2019s one of the great orators of all time<\/em><\/strong>,\u201d said Bennett. \u201cI was impressed with Governor Cuomo and Martin Luther King and the way they spoke, and he [Obama] is so intelligent, and he\u2019s such a great orator<\/em><\/strong>.

\n\u201cHe has such a great way of communicating, and his thoughts and his philosophies are just astounding,\u201d said Bennett. \u201cHe\u2019s impressing the rest of the world. I wish that everybody in America would realize that we really have a great president.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Bennett can’t name one single\u00a0thing Obama’s done, except that he can read a teleprompter and that somehow qualifies him as being\u00a0“intelligent” and “a great President.”\u00a0 Big deal!\u00a0 Some of the worst despots in the world were great orators, and they used that ability to sway the masses and themselves into power.\u00a0 It’s commonly known as the Cult of Personality.\u00a0 What’s next?\u00a0 If Obama were to fart “Zip A De Doo Dah” in perfect pitch,\u00a0would that make him a virtuoso musician in the eyes of Tony Bennett?<\/p>\n

I wonder if Tony said the same thing about George W. Bush.\u00a0\u00a0 Probably not, because back then, patriotism equalled dissent in the minds of liberals.\u00a0 Never mind the fact that those of us who supported Bush at the ballot box and online were also intellectually honest enough to disagree with him from time to time.<\/p>\n
