Most people choose to take risks in life.\u00a0 \u00a0Some more than others and their reasons for doing so vary to a large degree.<\/p>\n
Herman Cain decided to put himself at risk.\u00a0 People can agree with what he did or disagree with it.<\/p>\n
I joined the United States Marine Corps.\u00a0 I joined with a guarantee that I would be put into a Combat Arms field.\u00a0 I did so knowing it put my life at greater risk.<\/p>\n
At one point in my career, I was sitting comfortably behind a desk at a Command Headquarters.\u00a0 When Beirut started I was not about to stay behind that desk and push paper around.\u00a0 I used an early re-enlistment option and a lateral move back to a Combat Arms MOS to get on the next boat to Beirut.\u00a0 Once again, I did so knowing that it put my life at a greater risk than manning that desk, but make no mistake, I did love my desk.<\/p>\n
Many of us joined the military of our own choosing.\u00a0 I did.\u00a0 Those of us that did, put our lives in greater danger than most other Americans.<\/p>\n
The Soviet and I still go Scuba Diving as often as possible.\u00a0 Doing so puts our lives at greater risk than if we stayed at the Hardin Compound.\u00a0 \u00a0I still fly a DA-40.\u00a0 There is a greater risk that I will turn into a lawn dart by doing that than if I stayed on the ground.<\/p>\n
I have been Spelunking all over the world.\u00a0 Not a smart thing to do if your Safety is the most important thing in your life.<\/p>\n
I have held men while they died from choosing to do things that put their life, and mine, at risk.<\/p>\n
I do not recommend my way of life to people.\u00a0 I do not insist that others agree with it.\u00a0 I do not force others to participate in it.\u00a0 Those that do choose to participate in activities of higher than normal risk are fully aware of the risks.<\/p>\n
Herman Cain was fully aware of the risks he was taking.\u00a0 He must have believed that there are things in life worth dying for.<\/p>\n
The only people at risk during that Trump Rally were people that made a choice to put themselves at risk.\u00a0 Some think it is better to not put their lives at risk.<\/p>\n
I think President Trump tweets too much.\u00a0 I do not like everything that he does or says.\u00a0 I disagree with some of his positions on issues.<\/p>\n
Nonetheless,\u00a0 I will do exactly as Herman Cain did… I will put my life at risk to make sure Donald J. Trump gets re-elected.\u00a0 \u00a0His election as President is more important than my personal safety.<\/p>\n
I see what the Democratic Party has become as the greatest threat to the existence of this country than any other enemy it has faced during my lifetime.<\/p>\n
I will not cower to it.\u00a0 I will not hide from it.\u00a0 I will not ban it from this site.\u00a0 I will not pretend that it is going away on its own.<\/p>\n
Darwinian outcomes only happen to creatures that are incapable of changing their path.\u00a0 Bad ideas are conquered by good ideas.\u00a0 \u00a0I will not cave in to the temptation that many have suggested to silence bad reasoning.\u00a0 \u00a0 Doing so is Fascist.<\/p>\n
If I have a choice in the matter,\u00a0 I would much rather die in a pool of my own blood than a puddle of my own piss.\u00a0 \u00a0I do not blame those who are afraid of dying,\u00a0 I rage against those who are afraid to live.<\/p>\n
There are those for whom I will gladly give what is left of this life so that they may live free.<\/p>\n
I will not be spoon-fed safety by anyone.<\/p>\n
