Fatal Calhoun County shooting under investigation<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nCLARKSVILLE, Fla. (WMBB) \u2014 Investigators are trying to determine if Calhoun County man acted in self-defense when he shot and killed his uncle over the weekend.<\/p>\n

Calhoun County Sheriff\u2019s investigators say 43-year-old Jonathan Maybin shot and killed Steven Shiver after multiple confrontations.<\/p>\n

Authorities say Maybin called twice before the shooting to ask for a trespass warning against Shiver. The third time he called, he let deputies know he shot Shiver, according to a news release from the Calhoun County Sheriff\u2019s Office.<\/p>\n

Maybin claims Shiver tried to drag him out of his truck and take away his gun, the news release states.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Deputies investigate after homeowner shoots, kills uninvited visitor in Lancaster County<\/strong><\/p>\n

INDIAN LAND, S.C. (WBTV) – Deputies are investigating a shooting death after a homeowner fatally shot an uninvited visitor in Lancaster County over the weekend.<\/p>\n

Deputies responded to a burglary call around 3:30 a.m. Sunday at a home on Fox Ridge Lane in Indian Land.<\/p>\n

Officers said a 37-year-old man drove to the residence uninvited where his ex-girlfriend was visiting.<\/p>\n

Deputies said the 37-year-old man, identified as Anastasio Kroustalis, from Matthews, NC, upset that the woman was there.<\/p>\n

The homeowner, a 40-year-old man, allowed Kroustalis to come inside to the downstairs kitchen.<\/p>\n

The homeowner went upstairs to talk with the woman, who was in a walk-in closet in the master bedroom suite.<\/p>\n

Soon after, Kroustalis made his way upstairs and confronted the homeowner and the woman at the closet door.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

4 injured in shooting at Dallas sports bar after men not allowed in due to COVID-19 restrictions<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nDALLAS – Dallas police said three men were shot and a woman was hit by shrapnel when someone opened fire outside a sports bar in North Oak Cliff Saturday night.<\/p>\n

The shooter was reportedly among three men who were turned away from Harris House of Heroes II sports bar, just before midnight, because the establishment was at full capacity.<\/p>\n

In May, a Dallas fire marshal shut down the crowded Harris House of Heroes location off McKinney Avenue after a disagreement over whether it should be classified as a bar or restaurant.<\/p>\n

Last month, the Texas Alcohol Beverage Commission suspended the license for the other Harris House of Heroes location for 30 days.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
