\nA Los Angeles man is behind bars after a brazen break-in at a Douglas County gun store on Sunday night.<\/p>\n

MYRTLE CREEK, Ore. \u2014 A Los Angeles man is behind bars after a brazen break-in at a Myrtle Creek gun store on Sunday night, according to the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office.<\/p>\n

Around 9 p.m., dispatchers received a report of a man breaking into a gun shop in the 100-block of Storage Way in Myrtle Creek, apparently loading his vehicle up with guns and ammunition.<\/p>\n

An officer with Myrtle Creek Police saw the suspect driving away as deputies arrived on the scene. When the deputies tried to stop the driver, he reportedly sped away onto I-5 southbound.<\/p>\n

“The suspect lead law enforcement on a pursuit and briefly got away,” DCSO said. “A short time later, the suspect vehicle was observed in a pullout near milepost 97.”<\/p>\n

Deputies brought in K9 “Ozzy” to help take the suspect into custody after he reportedly ran onto the freeway.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

\nWhat would you do if you discovered a man in your teenage daughter\u2019s bedroom in the middle of the night? Most people would do anything and everything they could to protect her and the rest of the family from the intruder. That\u2019s exactly what a Coweta County, Georgia man did when he came upon 20-year-old Keywontrezes Humphries in his 14-year-old daughter\u2019s room earlier this month (someone the girl apparently knew).<\/p>\n

Then, as Casillas went to retrieve gun, Humphries jumped out the bedroom window. And that\u2019s where Casillas took a wrong turn. One he got the gun, he reportedly pursued Humphries outside, beat him some more, and then fired a number of shots at him as he ran away.<\/p>\n

According to fox5atlanta.com, Ismail Casillas, the girls\u2019 father, proceeded to pound Humphries to a pulp.<\/p>\n

Investigators say that is where Casillas crossed the line, because Humphries was no longer a threat to him. Though investigators say they understand Casillas rage, Georgia law draws a line on continuing actions against an intruder once they are no longer a threat and in this case fleeing down the road.<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Afghan teen kills 2 Taliban with AK-47 after they murdered her parents<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nA teenage girl in the central Afghan province of Ghor killed a pair of Taliban militants with an AK-47 rifle after the Taliban members killed her parents.<\/p>\n

The Afghan teenager, Qamar Gul, used the AK-47 rifle owned by her family to kill two Taliban fighters who attacked her home and killed her parents for supporting the Afghan government. Habiburahman Malekzada, local police chief, confirmed the incident in comments to Agence France-Presse and later reported by The New York Post.<\/p>\n

\u201cQamar Gul, a young girl and her brother, have killed two Taliban fighters and pushed back several others in Tewri district of Ghor province, after the insurgents killed three members of their family,\u201d the Afghanistan Times tweeted with a photo of Gul and the AK-47 rifle.<\/p>\n

Malekzada said a group of Taliban attackers initially came after Gul\u2019s father but killed both her parents outside her home after her mother resisted the Taliban attack. It was then that Gul took action to fight off the Taliban group.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Five Washington Teens Save Female Deputy Who Was Allegedly Being Choked By DUI Suspect<\/strong><\/p>\n

A group of Washington state teens sprung into action Saturday and saved a King County deputy who was allegedly being choked by a DUI suspect, police said Tuesday.<\/p>\n

A female\u00a0officer<\/a>, who was referred to as Deputy Eliot, was reportedly off-duty when she came upon a multi-vehicle car wreck, The King County Sheriff\u2019s Office said in a\u00a0Facebook post<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Eliot confronted an\u00a0inebriated<\/a>\u00a0suspect who allegedly caused the pile-up, and the person began struggling with the deputy and placed her in a chokehold, the sheriff\u2019s office said in the social media post.<\/p>\n

\u201cGet off of her!\u201d yelled five young men who jumped on the suspect and pried the him off Eliot, the post said. The good men then restrained the alleged aggressor, as Eliot collected herself and cuffed him, according to the post.<\/p>\n

The group of what appeared to be teenagers were seen in a photograph hugging the deputy after the violent encounter.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe cannot thank these five young men enough for coming to Deputy Elliott\u2019s rescue,\u201d The sheriff\u2019s office wrote on Facebook. \u201cThey quite possibly saved her life. The photo was taken just a few minutes after the teens helped her. Moms and Dads, you should be proud of these kids!\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
