By Steve Straub<\/strong><\/p>\n Another major company run by leftist idiots, this time Dreyers Grand Ice Cream, has decided to change the name of one of it\u2019s iconic brands because some moron decided the name is \u201cracially tinged\u201d<\/p>\n Eskimo Pies are soon to be a thing of the past because somehow calling an ice cold treat an \u201cEskimo Pie\u201d is now racist.<\/p>\n Via the New York Post:<\/p>\n The maker of Eskimo Pies will change the 99-year-old brand name of the ice cream treat, the company said Friday \u2014 becoming the latest organization to overhaul the marketing of a product with a racially tinged moniker in recent weeks.<\/p>\n The owner of the Eskimo Pie, Dreyer\u2019s Grand Ice Cream, said in a statement they had been considering renaming the chocolate-covered ice cream bar and popsicle for some time.<\/p>\n \u201cWe are committed to being a part of the solution on racial equality, and recognize the term is derogatory,\u201d the company\u2019s head of marketing said in a statement.<\/p>\n \u201cThis move is part of a larger review to ensure our company and brands reflect our people values,\u201d the company added.<\/p>\n Along with the name change, the company will alter the treat\u2019s marketing scheme, which traditionally featured a young boy dressed as an Eskimo in a snowy environmet.<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n Read the entire article here: The Federalist Papers<\/a><\/p>\n Thanks Poe.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
