Normally, when something this utterly brilliant comes along, I go right to the source as I did with this particular idea.\u00a0 I read the WUWT article first, which I strongly recommend that you do, too. But the whole idea about defunding law enforcement is so overwhelming that I could hardly contain myself.\u00a0 Think of it: no more need for emergency call centers, no more parking or speeding tickets, no more unnecessary expenses like badges, LEO vehicles, uniforms, etc. Think of the cash that could be saved! It’s brilliant, I tell you!<\/p>\n

I’m impressed by the devotion of the Greenbeaners to The Cause of A Green Earth, but are they truly prepared to live in hovels with no plumbing or electricity in a lawless society? As much as they detest commercial crop production and animal farms, does anyone besides me think they will be terrified if they have to give up their soy lattes? The soybean plant requires a certain degree of vigilance and guardianship, especially at harvest time. A 250 acre plot of soybeans being harvested by hand is a sight worth waiting for, isn’t it?\u00a0 Perhaps a tea made of dried alfalfa leaves and rose petals could replace soy, but then, alfalfa also requires specific things to grow properly, and does that really present a viable solution to defunding the police?\u00a0 Think of the horrors of finding that cinnamon is no longer imported to the US of A, and any efforts to acquire it are the equivalent of dealing with someone in a dark alley on a foggy, wet Monday night.<\/p>\n
