For the first time since late 2001, CNN dominated the ratings from the 25 to 54 age group. This is based on Nielsen ratings for May 29 through June 3.<\/p>\n
With the exit of some of their respected journalists and their replacement with more left-leaning hosts, this does not come as a surprise. When other respected members of the old Fox News exit the network, more news like this may become common.<\/p>\n
From The Wrap:<\/span><\/p>\n As protests in the wake of the killing of George Floyd continued through the week, CNN hit a major ratings milestone: On Wednesday, the network notched its sixth day in a row in the top spot among the cable news channels for total day and primetime viewers in the advertiser-coveted age demographic of 25 to 54.<\/p>\n This is the first time CNN has topped those viewership groups in 19 years.<\/p>\n According to Nielsen ratings, from Friday, May 29 to Wednesday, June 3, CNN beat Fox News and MSNBC in the demo in total day ratings, measuring from 6 a.m. ET to 6 a.m. ET.
