Antifa and other anarchists have co-opted the Floyd protests, undermining the real purpose of those gatherings. Nothing is more cowardly and shameful than stealing that man\u2019s death and twisting it into a vile, disgusting display of violence and destruction toward people who have done nothing wrong, e.g., shop owners, store managers, bank managers, the local LEOS. It is the act of unfettered cowards who hide behind a false mask of “owning” a tragedy that could have been avoided, but has been exploited by scumbags like Antifa and other anarchists who may\u00a0 be supported by someone else\u2019s money.<\/p>\n

And the Left won\u2019t admit to it. In fact, they take no responsibility for it, and everything is someone else’s fault. Sounds an awful lot like an excuse a spoiled 3 year old brat would try to fall back on.<\/p>\n

From the article:\u00a0\u00a0Minnesota Governor Tim Walz and other officials there claimed a majority of those arrested were outsiders. Walz estimated the figure at 80 percent. National Urban League President Marc Morial ratcheted up the outrage in a cable news interview. He demanded an investigation to confirm \u201cif it is white supremacists, if it is Russians, if it is other foreign actors who have tried to exploit the pain and exploit legitimate protests.\u201d<\/p>\n

It was manifestly implausible to suggest the rioting was the work of white supremacists or Russians. Arrest data showed a majority of those arrested in Minneapolis were from the city. The four people arrested in New York in fire bombing attacks were all state residents. The problem is that the most obvious culprits are all too familiar. A movement of anarchist, antifascist, and extreme left wing groups has been building for years, with violence from Washington to Berkeley. The most prominent is antifa, but there are also groups like By All Means Necessary with similar histories. – article.<\/p>\n

It is quite unlikely that it is Russians, and much more likely that these groups who start the destruction are paid to be destructive and egg people on to commit more destruction by someone who is loaded with cash.<\/p>\n

To hijack the death of someone and pervert it to your own needs is the most reprehensible thing possible. These are not protesters. Those people come out in the daytime, do their protest march peacefully and go home. They don’t dress up in black with masks covering their faces and carrying harmful equipment with them, nor to the shoot someone and take videos of him while he’s dying and broadcast them on the internet. All of that is indecent, dishonest and has no place in a protest. It’s just an excuse to let everyone know what soulless, contemptible creatures they are, because they have nothing going for them.<\/p>\n

We’ve already been at this point many times before now.\u00a0 The May 4, 1886, rally at Haymarket Square was organized by labor radicals to protest the killing and wounding of several workers by the Chicago police during a strike the day before at the McCormick Reaper Works.\u00a0\u00a0Bonus Army marchers confronted the police in Anacostia Flats, DC,\u00a0 in 1932, in the heart of the Depression. The Bonus Army was a group of 43,000 demonstrators \u2013 made up of 17,000 U.S. World War I veterans, together with their families and affiliated groups \u2013 who gathered in Washington, D.C. in mid-1932 to demand early cash redemption of their service certificates. The civil rights marches and protests in the early to mid-1960s rattled the cage doors on Washington, DC, and on state governments. The protests against the war in Vietnam in the 1960s were everywhere, in Chicago, at Kent State University, in California, in Washington, DC – they were everywhere.<\/p>\n

Where is this going to lead us? Right now, I don’t know. But someone had better start clamping down on the after dark violence and destruction and start some dialogues, or we are going to go through this again and again until it resolves itself, and possibly in a very unpleasant way.\u00a0 And I don’t want that.<\/p>\n
