  • *Yawn* Emma Kaplan compares the troops to nazis

    The other day I wrote about Emma Kaplan and her vacuous call to action against the troops at Fort Hood’s 3rd ACR. Well, she couldn’t let it go at that, i suppose, and had to take that final step to compare US troops to Nazis;

    These american “soldiers” are not serving ” us” They are serving the interests of Empire. They are engaged in an illegal, illegitimate war and people need to stand up and say no. And frankly, the whole excuse of “I was just following orders” was used during Nazi Germany and it is nota legitimate excuse for the bombing of wedding parties, the use of torture and killing children etc. This IS what is happening in Iraq. People need to be protesting the government and the military that is carrying out these crimes. It is necessary for people to critize [sic] the military and stop them if what they are doing is wrong.

    Of course, little princess Emma has never been to the theater of operations, never met a soldier who wasn’t against the war (she accompanies Matthis and Robin Long on their high school road show) so it’s easy for her to condemn the troops for doing their job and call them names. She has yet to provide a shred of proof that the war is “illegal, illegitimate” – it’s all just empty words for which she takes no responsibility. Pampered little rich girl that she is.

  • Under the Hood; SSDD

    In case you’re interested in the Deviants or Disobedients or Defoliants or whatever they are at Under the Hood and their protest at Fort Hood today, there are some really boring “livestreaming” at UStream. Casey Porter Casey J Porter says their internet connection was shut down (probably because their audience had a bout of narcolepsy), Casey wrote on his Facebook page that the event was underwhelming. I think he was being generous.

    They claim they’re going to take direct action by blocking the buses with their bodies in about an hour…good for them. I’m sure that will stop an armor regiment. The latest word on their little chat room is that the Army changed it’s schedule because they’re frightened of a bunch of anarchist pussies hopped up on free coffee.

    Mostly the videos are of Matthis making out with the sound of his own voice. I put a link to the videos below the jump because it starts by itself;

  • Swedes: Assange to be arrested

    If the Swedish media and the Google translator is to be believed, Julian Assange, the Wikileaks terrorist is being sought in Stockholm on the charge of rape;

    The article roughly translated;

    Is there probable cause the case? – Yes.
    About an hour earlier in the evening, the prosecutor had received information from the Stockholm police on rape complaint against Julian Assange.
    – I do not know the time of notification. I learned of it here this evening and asked him now in the evening, “said Maria Häljebo Kjell Beach.
    According to Expressen crimes allegations arose after two women aged between 20 and 30 visited the police.

    One woman he should have met last week between Saturday and Sunday in an apartment in Stockholm.
    Other woman will he have met in Enköping on Tuesday morning, according to Expressen.
    A source with insider tells how he met the women:
    – He met the victims through their assignments.

    The prosecutor would at this stage only confirm the suspicion of rape, but would not provide more details:

    Thanks to Tman for the link.

  • Throwing money away at the VA

    I found this story at Vets’ Voice and although dicksmith is exited about it, I think it’s the worst waste of money in the Federal government. The VA is sponsoring a NASCAR participant in the name of the new GI Bill;

    The idea, according to Veterans Affairs Department officials, is to get the GI Bill plastered on a racecar and frequently mentioned by broadcasters to spread the word about the availability of the Post-9/11 GI Bill.

    Really? Is there someone out there who is eligible but isn’t aware of the post 9-11 GI Bill? If I remember correctly, people had trouble GETTING the new benefit…and they all knew they were eligible. Then, after the VA gave them their money, they had to go around and collect the advance payment back.

    So the problem isn’t letting people know about the new GI Bill, it’s paying them the benefit they earned.

    The combined cost of sponsoring a car and the race will be about $420,000, a significant part of a $1 million advertising campaign that also includes buying ads in college newspapers and in online publications to try to reach eligible service members and veterans, VA officials said.

    What a ginormous waste of money. Give me the fucking million bucks and I’ll personally knock on every door in America and tell residents about the GI Bill whether they’re eligible or not.

    Of course dicksmith would think it’s a good use of government funds – he pees himself everytime VoteVets does a million dollar ad buy for the energy bill. And Rick Maze wrote the Army Times article, so my two favorite propagandists are involved in this story told by idiots.

  • Ann Wright arms our enemies

    The hard Left doesn’t admit that they arm our enemies with propaganda demonstrations. One of our readers, TD, sent me a series of videos and links of Ann Wright (I wrote about Wright a few months ago). Here are some of the stuff TD sent. Wright recruits for the next Gaza flotilla;

    Wright tells us how scary it was for her to be on a ship in the last flotilla, even though she wasn’t on the boat that was raided by Israeli commandos;

    Yesterday, CNN reported that Ayman al-Zawahiri, reportedly al Qaeda’s #2 man, spoke out to Muslim Turks on the subject of the Gaza flotilla;

    In an audio message released Sunday, a speaker identified as al Qaeda’s second-in-command offers condolences to the Turkish people on the loss of nine activists in a May 31 Israeli raid on an aid flotilla headed for Gaza.

    The incident badly frayed Israel’s once-close relationship with Turkey. The speaker, who was identified as Ayman al-Zawahiri, said in the message the incident underscores the need for Turkey to stop cooperating with or recognizing Israel.

    Of course, that’s the intention of Wright and the organizations to which she belongs. Ann Wright, a former Army colonel and member of Code Pink, Vets for Freedom Peace, Iraq veterans Against the War, World Can’t Wait and who knows how many other organizations which are tied to the Maoist ANSWER and the Revolutionary Communist Party, has no problem providing our enemies with propaganda moments. In fact they see it as their duty to arm our enemies and destroy our fragile coalition.

  • Turning up the heat

    Under the Hood’s den of pirates is cranking up the heat on the Army’s 3rd Armored Cavarly Regiment at Fort Hood by calling nationwide for participants in their protest against the 3rd ACR’s deployment on the 22nd;

    Of course, using the image of soldiers loading on aircraft with missing limbs and wrapped in straitjackets by calling for a halt to deploying “wounded soldiers” is just ridiculous. What use would there be to send crippled and incapable soldiers to a war? It makes no sense.

    I’d like Bobby or Cindy or some other member of the UtH’s Brady Bunch to give me the names and “wounds” of some soldiers who are being forced to deploy with the 3rd ACR.

  • A name change – that’s the ticket!

    Suppose your organization was irrelevant and no one is paying attention to your message which is becoming less and less germane to your particular conversation, what’s the best way to make everyone pay attention again? Change the name? Well, that’s Victor Agosto’s idea. TJ Buonomo says the new name needs an adjustment;

    I told you that TJ was the smart one. Since a large number of IVAW haven’t served in either Iraq or Afghanistan, TJ’s idea has merit. Beth Roxby agrees;

    I SUPPORT limiting membership [of Iraq Veterans Against the War] to veterans of Iraq and Afghanistan. I know that’s an unpopular idea right now, but I don’t really care. I think the liberal membership policy has possibly caused more problems, both for member retention and media credibility, than any other single factor. And granted, IVAW is currently facing a lot of dividing factors.

    We already have an anti-war organization that welcomes all veterans, and that’s Veterans for Peace. They’re big-umbrella

    Big umbrella – that means everyone who doesn’t have enough credibility to speak to combat veterans’ issues. Including TJ who barely finished MIOBC when he got out of the Army. If they narrowed membership to veterans who’ve actually been to the war, most of the Board would be gone as well as most of the membership.

    So what do you guys want…a credible organization, or larger membership? I think they’ve already made up their mind – after all, dollars are more important than credibility.

  • Code Pink Protest at Quantico for Manning

    Several of you have sent me notification of Code Pink’s planned protest Sunday noon at Quantico Marine base where Bradley Manning, the Wikileaks, butt-bandit is currently incarcerated. Code Pink and the Left are all calling Manning a “whistleblower”. Although the second half of that phrase might be accurate, I’m pretty sure that it wasn’t a whistle. In the current usage of the word, I guess the Rosenbergs and Alger Hiss were whistleblowers, too. So was Benedict Arnold, I suppose.

    Anyway, for those of you who plan to be in the Metro DC area, there’s a counter-protest being sponsored by Free Republic;

    All patriots are urged to stand up for the Marine Corps and the United States this Sunday, August 8, 2010, from mid-morning to as long as needed as the terrorist support group Code Pink descends on the Quantico Marine Corps Base in Virginia to give aid and comfort to accused Wikileaks traitor Bradley Manning. From the Code Pink website: CODEPINK, Veterans for Peace, Courage to Resist and others will be holding a rally at Quantico Base to support whistleblower Bradley Manning. We will be delivering Bradley Manning letters of support to the base. To submit a letter to be delivered please email it to medea@globalexchange.org and we’ll print it out and hand deliver. If you live in the DC area please join us at the rally. When: Sunday, August 8, noon Where: Quantico Marine Corps Base, VA where Manning is being held in pre-trial confinement Private First Class Bradley Manning, a 22-year-old intelligence analyst stationed in Iraq, stands accused of disclosing a classified video depicting American troops in Iraq shooting civilians from an Apache helicopter in 2007. Eleven people were killed, including two Reuters employees, and two children were critically injured. No charges have been filed against the soldiers who did the killing. News sources have also speculated about Manning’s involvement in the leak of over 90,000 secret documents (collectively known as the Afghanistan “war logs”) made public by WikiLeaks on July 25. RSVP to tell us your coming at medea@globalexchange.org / 415.235.6517 (carpool available). Thank you for turning this leak into a tsunami of anti-war pressure, Bonnie, Dana, Farida, Gael, Gayle, Joan, Jodie, Medea, Nancy, Rae,Victoria and Valerie

    The ‘Jodie’ in the list above is Jodie Evans. She funded Barack Obama’s presidential campaign and works with his administration to undermine Obama’s official war policies. Jodie Evans and Code Pink also work with terrorists and state sponsors of terrorism against the United States. Jodie Evans and Code Pink also act as couriers between terrorists and Obama. Many Freepers remember that Code Pink delivered $650,000 in cash and humanitarian aid to what Code Pink called “the other side” in Fallujah as the Marines were clearing that Iraqi city of al Qaeda and other Sunni terrorists in late 2004. Jodie Evans and Code Pink also publicly endorsed the terrorists in Iraq. Lately Code Pink has been working with Hamas, the Taliban and the Muslim Brotherhood. Code Pink’s treasonous ties to terrorists and Obama has been extensively reported at Big Government and of course here at Free Republic. Code Pink also waged a campaign against the Marine Corps officer recruiting center in Berkeley. Mapquest link for Quantico. Basically, it is off I-95 just south of Dumfries. Afterward, you may want to take the time to visit the nearby National Museum of the Marine Corps. Details as to where to meet in Quantico on Sunday morning will be added to this thread, but plan to arrive around 10 a.m. As always, the D.C. Chapter of FreeRepublic.com’s rules for demonstrating will be in effect. Briefly, they are: No violence, no profanity, no racism, no provocations, obey the law and treat all law enforcement officers with respect.

    Times like this, I miss DC.

    By the way, that MOTHAX guy (whoever he is) has more at The Burnpit.
