  • Scott George Kallmeyer; phony SEAL

    Scott George Kallmeyer; phony SEAL

    Our partners at Military Phonies share their work on this Scott George Kallmeyer fellow who claims that he is a Navy SEAL. He even has a sweet ID card that attests to his SEAL-ness;

    He can’t help but tell folks in social media about how the only easy day was yesterday, or something;

    The Navy says “Who?”

    That doesn’t stop him from sporting a Navy hoodie, though;

  • Daniel Clay Cheatham; phony Ranger

    Daniel Clay Cheatham; phony Ranger

    Our partners at Military Phonies send us their work on this Daniel Cheatham who claims that he was injured as an Army Ranger, and he claims that he served in combat in Afghanistan, to improve his business as a masseuse and a yoga instructor;

    The Army disagrees. It looks like Cheatham was an Initial Entry failure. He never left Fort Benning and his Infantry Training Brigade in uniform. He was scheduled to go to Fort Bragg and an airborne assignment, but he never made it. In his bio above, he claims that he left the Army as a corporal (E-4), but his discharge says that he never progressed past Private (E-1).

    So, if you are looking for a masseuse with Ranger training and combat experience, Dan Cheatham is not your guy.

  • Tobin Lee McGuffin; phony SEAL

    Tobin Lee McGuffin; phony SEAL

    Someone shared their work on this Tobin Lee McGuffin. He also goes by Cody McGuffin, Cody Lee McGuffin, Lee Cody McGuffin, Arthur Lee Grey, Tobin Cody McGuffin, Lee McGuffin, and Lee Grey. I’m sure there are more names, but those are all I know about. He’s in Wisconsin for the time being, but he’s been living in Wyoming, Montana, North and South Carolina, Alabama and Virginia. It’s as if he is on the run, isn’t it?

    As you can tell from his little cap, he claims to have been a Navy SEAL. Of course, if you ask to see his records, he’ll tell you they’re classified, but not so classified that he can’t wear that cap. Do real SEALs ever wear that fugly cap?

    He was in the Navy, for eighteen months 1978-1979, as a machinist mate aboard the submarine USS Francis Scott Key while it was stationed at Rota Spain. He went up and down the rate scale until he bumped up against a summary court martial and found himself out on the street.

    No SEAL training or assignments. He does have a bunch of war stories about things that never happened.

  • Dennis Pasquale; phony SEAL

    Dennis Pasquale; phony SEAL

    Our partners at Military Phonies send us their work on this Dennis Pasquale fellow. I thought about just posting the above picture and leaving it at that. I mean, how much more proof do you need than that picture? But that wouldn’t be fair, I suppose. Besides, there are tattoos and motorcycle club vests involved. And illiteracy;

    The Navy says “Who?”

    I’m sure that if his Legion post checks, they’ll find a very illiterate forgery. He locked down his Facebook page.

  • Donald Maclean; phony Vietnam veteran

    Donald Maclean; phony Vietnam veteran

    Someone shared their work with us on this fellow, Donald Maclean. He claims that he served in Vietnam in the “brown water Navy”. Notice the Vietnam Service Medal patch on his vest;

    According to his records, he served in the Navy for about 21 months January 1969 – 1970 with seven months aboard USS Nantahala, a Cimarron-class replenishment oiler which sailed the Atlantic and the Mediterranean during those months. He left the Navy as an E-3.

    His only award was the National Defense Service Medal, no awards for service in Vietnam.

  • Stephen Charles Bayer; phony SEAL

    Stephen Charles Bayer; phony SEAL

    Our partners at Military Phonies share their work on this fellow, Stephen Charles Bayer, who claims that he was a graduate of BUD/S training in social media discussions;

    Based on Stephen’s summary sheet he spent 3 years, 10 months, 20 days in the US Navy as a STG2 – Sonar Technician (Surface) E-5. There is no record of him attending BUD/S or being assigned to a UDT/SEAL Team.

  • Robert Looney; phony SEAL

    Robert Looney; phony SEAL

    Someone sends us their work on this fellow Robert Looney who tries to convince this woman on the phone that he’s a Navy SEAL and that Don Shipley is just trying to destroy him for no reason; Language warning!!!

    He left the Navy as an E-6 after 23 years, but no SEAL training or assignments;

  • Donald Ritchie; phony SEAL

    Donald Ritchie; phony SEAL

    Our partners at Military Phonies send us their work on this fellow Donald Paul Ritchie who claims that he is a Navy SEAL.

    MP says that UDT-19 was decommissioned in 1945 so it’s not likely that he was with them;

    Donald’s summary sheet shows he was in the Navy on active duty from July 1972 until July 1979 for approximately 7 years with a few years of reserve time. He left Navy as an ASM3 (Aviation Support Equipment Technician Mechanical) E-4. I could of sworn that ASM had something to do with his tactical penetration which is NOT in his record. There is no record of him attending BUD/S, no UDT/SEAL Commands.
