MCPO requested an open thread with this picture which us “dog robbers” stole from some phony lawyer on the West Coast. While we’re talking about dog robbers, we’ve been getting almost daily visits from someone known for being a bit of a nutjob;
I guess that’s the price of our rent for living in his head. He tried to comment last night, but it didn’t work. So sad, too bad. I keep hoping for another late night phone call, but I guess he doesn’t have the pubes.
No one asked for it, but here’s your weekend open thread while I sort out some stuff.
Ex-PH2 was asking for an open thread since last night, but she didn’t send me any pictures, so again I get to pick the picture for the weekend. That’s me on day one of Zero Week, at Jump School fresh off the bus from Fort Polk, LA – it was March or April 1975 and all I was thinking about when I posed for the picture was Victory Drive. 4 weeks later, I was raking in that big $55/month for hazardous duty pay. A six pack of Michelob (premium beer back then) was about $1.50 – do the math.
No one asked for an open thread, so I thought I’d just give you one anyway, that means I get to choose the picture.
I’m going to chill out for a while, so here – entertain yourselves. I’m sure everyone can’t wait to find out what’s on the menu, but for me, it’s just a white Belgian beer and a Miami-rolled cigar. Have fun.
I’ve had a couple of requests for an open thread for the weekend already. Ex-PH2 sends us a basket of fresh vegetables.

Ms. Ex-PH2 asked for a weekend open thread because she has a new barbeque recipe. Also, this post will be unseen by the Stolen Valor Cabal since they’ve been blocked completely from the blog. One of them cried to TSO this morning that they couldn’t read what we were saying about them. I’m thinking that I did them a favor.
I suspect that eventually they’ll put together those two halves of a brain cell they share and get in, but not today.
