  • Obama’s aunt is illegal alien and Obama donor Updated; under the bus edition

    So AP is reporting that Obama’s aunt found in Boston was ordered to leave the country after a judge denied her amnesty request;

    And apparently she made an illegal donation to the Obama campaign;

  • Post’s self-enforced ignorance

    Back in early September, just after Sarah Palin was chosen as McCain’s running mate, I wrote about the Washington Post making a big deal over Palin’s charges to the State for per diem expenses. The front page headline appeared of the fold and insinuted that the Governor had done something but further down the page they admitted that she’d done nothing wrong or illegal, buried in the story. In fact, the story was a popcorn fart. Later that week, the Post’s ombudman, answering tons of complaints wrote that the Post had done nothing wrong. Big surprise.

    Well, in today’s Post, they have a story about something really nefarious, but since it’s about the Obama campaign, they put on page 2. The link on the front page is almost invisible. See if you can find some nefarious dealings in this screen shot;

  • How unprepared is Obama/Biden?

    You’ve probably seen the WFTV’s Barbara West interview with Joe Biden where she had the temerity to actually ask Joe Biden questions about Obama’s relationship to ACORN, voter fraud and Marx. It all caused Joe Biden to lie so badly, you can actually see his hair plugs retreating back to his ass.  Here’s the video;

    Well, from Michelle Malkin, by way of Bits Blog, I discovered that the Obama campaign cancelled an interview at the station by Biden’s wife, Jill later in the day because of this according to the Orlando Sentinel;

    The campaign cited “an unprofessional interview” WFTV’s Barbara West did Thursday with Joe Biden. In a statement Friday, Adrianne Marsh, Florida spokeswoman for Obama’s campaign, said the station, in talking with Sen. Biden, was “both combative and woefully uninformed about simple facts.”

    In case they take that down later, here’s the screen shot;

    Bob Parks of Black & Right recounts the campaign’s message to WFTV;

    “This cancellation is non-negotiable, and further opportunities for your station to interview with this campaign are unlikely, at best for the duration of the remaining days until the election,” wrote Laura K. McGinnis, Central Florida communications director for the Obama campaign.

    Well, if a pretty, blonde reporter woman can fluster the campaign so bad, what will Ahmadinejad and Putin do to an Obama/Biden administration?  DavidL at Bits Blog wrote;

    Republican administrations are expected to deal with old rude hags like Helen Thomas.  On the other hand, the Obama campaign can not handle simple questions from a local reporterette.

    Malkin wrote;

    Keep Barbara West in your thoughts and prayers. She can expect the Joe the Plumber treatment any minute now.

    Meanwhile, Gateway Pundit reports that the LA Times is suppressing a video of Obama toasting PLO thugs while they bash Jews. That’s the kind of stuff that got Obama in this jam in the first place…the media covering for him and Biden. Who’s going to cover for them in office?

    And the scandal that will follow them from the campaign is the story that’s just easing out into the media about the campaign’s disabling of the Address Verification System in their donation system that allowed people to donate unlimited amounts from around the world. Story from Ace of Spades who has kept a death grip on the story all week.

    All of this stuff won’t be buried after the election, you betcha.

  • The Post’s red herring

    The Washington Post this morning sought to throw up camoflage for Obama and ACORN and their illegal activities by hinting that John McCain seeks to destroy democracy. Here’s screen shot of the front page link;

    In the headline, they claim that it’s merely hyperbole;

    So how does McCan “threaten Democracy”? Well, by questioning ACORN’s underhanded voter registration process.

    The group, whose voter registration drive has helped sign up about 450,000 low-income, minority and young voters this election, has been accused of submitting phony or duplicate registrations. ACORN itself has acknowledged problems, noting that in Nevada “there have been several times over the past ten months that our Las Vegas Quality Control program has identified a canvasser who appears to have knowingly submitted a fake or duplicate application in order to pad his or her hours.” ACORN says it phones those who sign voter registration cards to verify that the applications are valid and flags the questionable registrations for election officials. Most of what are presumed to be fraudulent registrations can be explained as clerical errors; voting officials routinely check registrations against databases, such as driver’s license records, to identify questionable submissions.

    Just clerical errors…like the guy that registered 72 times despite the fact that he claims he told the ACORN folks he was already registered. The Washington Post admits that there has, indeed, been some voter fraud, but they call the evidence “scant”

    What Mr. McCain’s alarmist attack ignores, however, is the enormous gulf between improper voter registration — whether fraudulent or merely erroneous — and actually committing fraud at the ballot box. Evidence of fraudulent voting is scant, though there is always a risk. But there is a far greater risk of citizens entitled to vote being turned away from the polls — and the real threat to the “fabric of democracy”….

    The threat isn’t ACORN’s widespread attempt to effect the upcoming election by fraud and deception, it’s McCain questioning their relationship with the Obama campaign according to the Post. If the Post got this upset at the ACORN thugs, maybe McCain wouldn’t have to defend the sanctity of the vote.

    Does this look like ACORN is nonpartisan?

  • Fraud; the hallmark of Democrats

    We’ve all been watching, with our jaws on our chest, as the media and prosecutors and judges allow ACORN to subvert the US electoral system, but that’s hardly the end of it. If you were reading Atlas Shrugs yesterday, you learned of the incredible story of John Galt who is a phony donor who was able to donate to the Obama campaign dispite the fact that his personal information didn’t match his credit card – there’s proof at Pamela Geller’s place in the form of screen shots.

    That started a spate of internet sleuths trying their hand at committing election fraud. An Ace of Spades reader discovered he could do the same thing on John Murtha’s website. Oddly enough, the same maneuver didn’t work at Republican campaign sites. Funny how that works. And the media completely ignores it.

    If you listened to Blackfive’s Uncle Jimbo and Dave Bellavia on their “In the Crosshairs” show the other day, they breifly talked about the Faifax County VA registrar who is tossing about 200,000 military ballots on a technicality. For some reason, the registrar wouldn’t talk to Jimbo…I don’t know what that’s about. I heard about the story several days ago from that stellar blogger on all things Virginian, at The Dillard Doctrine (who goes by the handle D. when he’s commenting here).

    The gist of the story is this; The Virginia Senate in 2002 passed a law that required a witness signature and contact information on requests for an absentee ballot, but the current request for the absentee ballot doesn’t mention the requirement of even have a place for the information to be written…so the Democrat registrar (who’d probably bend himself into a pretzel for a felon trying to vote from prison) has decided that he’ll just toss the ballots instead of coming up with a fix (like emergency legislation).

    Like a child, the Democrat Party will get away with as much as they can get away with to steal this election just so the world will think better of us and the media is letting them get away with it, while they discuss Sarah Palin’s wardrobe expenses. Good call, “journalists”.

  • This is what we’re in for

    So Joe the Plumber asked Obama a question about raising his taxes. Obama answered that yes, he would to spread the wealth around. It was an embarrassing moment, when John McCain mentioned it last night. The video had been zinging around the internet for a few days, but when it got mentioned during the debate, Joe the Plumber became kryptonite.

    Right out of the box this morning, Joe Biden demonstrated how out of touch he is with America by announcing that no plumbers in his neighborhood makes $250,000 (h/t to Curt at Flopping Aces);

    And it set the conspiracy nuts to hunting. At Democratic Underground, they were absolutely giddy to discover that Joe the Plumber is distantly related by marriage to Charles Keating;

    Turns out that Joe Wurzelbacher from the Toledo event is a close relative of Robert Wurzelbacher of Milford, Ohio. Who’s Robert Wurzelbacher? Only Charles Keating’s son-in-law and the former senior vice president of American Continental, the parent company of the infamous Lincoln Savings and Loan.

    How close? Well we don’t know…no one is going to bother to tell us. But using moonbat logic;

    DefenseLawyer
    10. How many Wurzelbachers can there be?

    Typical defense lawyer…answer questions with more questions.

    So when Joe makes the mistake of saying Obama tap dances like world-reknowned Jewish tap dancer Sammy Davis, Junior, the Gawker says Wurzelbacher “already talks like a GOP pundit (he’s got the accidental casual racism down!), and his aw shucks willingness to repeat ancient class war talking points to every camera in sight is actually a bit suspicious for a random voter“. Do they have proof that Joe Wurzelbacher is related distantly by marriage to Keating? Well, not really admits the Gawker;

    Keating’s son-in-law, Robert Wurzelbacher, served a 40-month prison sentence in 1993 in connection with Keating’s Lincoln Savings and Loan collapse. Since then, who knows what he’s been up to, but there is a Robert Wurzelbacher who lives just outside of Cincinnati, owns a wood company, and donates to Republicans.

    Meanwhile there is a Joseph Wurzelbacher who owns a painting company in Cincinnati! Along with a septic tank repair company!

    These dots were all connected by a DailyKos diarist, who has no proof that Joe and Robert Wurzelbacher are related, but, you know, it’s suspicious.

    Yeah, at the Huffington Post they’re already calling Robert Wurzelbacher his father with no real proof. But who needs facts? Speaking of facts, some rabble-rouser on Air America is claiming he’s a wife beater according to a DUmmy;

    Blaq Dem
    141. Word has it he was arrested 3 times for domestic violence!

    …according to Thom Hartmann on Air America Radio.

    So Ace asks;

    Joe Wurzelbacher’s purported distant relationship to Charles Keating is newsworthy, the left is telling me, while Barack Obama’s friendship and protoge relationship with terrorist William Ayers is not.

    I’m sorry – – what’s Joe Wurzelbacher running for again?

    So, Obama can go to the debutante ball with terrorists, thieves and racists, but a McCain supporter can’t be related somewhat distantly to a bad businessman? But this is just a taste of what we’re all in for in Obama’s America.

    In the meantime, I mentioned during the liveblog that McCain should use Joe in an ad. So here it is below the jump;

  • You’re Damned Right We’re Angry

    Frank Rich, a New York Times hack, wrote a column bitching about the anger of Republicans and accusing us of ‘Weimar-like rage’ and ‘inciting vigilantism’, ad infinitum.

    What makes them (Read: Republicans) different, and what has pumped up the Weimar-like rage at McCain-Palin rallies, is the violent escalation in rhetoric, especially (though not exclusively) by Palin. Obama “launched his political career in the living room of a domestic terrorist.” He is “palling around with terrorists” (note the plural noun). Obama is “not a man who sees America the way you and I see America.”

  • Spinning Troopergate

    When I wanted to keep up with the Sarah Palin “Troopergate” issue, I read Mata Harley at Flopping Aces who has covered this thing from the day Ms. Palin was nominated to be the VP candidate, mainly because the media’s coverage of this borders on useless. So yesterday, the 263-page report on the investigation was released and it actually cleared the Governor on the main charge of firing her pubic safety commissioner. But here’s how the newspapers are headlining the story.
