  • IVAW’s evil plot to destroy the world

    OK, maybe that’s a bit of hyperbole, but it’s becoming more and more clear that they would destroy the world if they could. Luckily for us, they don’t have two brain cells between them that they could rub together and accomplish it. Kind of like the Somali pirates.

    Take Marc Hall, for instance. I’ve written about his plight before. Just after Nidal Hasan gunned down 13 of his fellow soldiers, Marc Hall, now called the “Stop Loss Rapper, decided to communicate a threat by recording a rap song in which he promised to “lock and load” a thirty-round magazine in his M4 rifle and kill all of his leadership in the grade of E-7 and above.

    IVAW, in concert with “Courage to Resist”, has decided to “raise money” for Hall’s defense – except Hall is represented by military lawyers (because his trial is happening in Iraq and his National Lawyers Guild attorneys aren’t there). So why are they raising money for his defense? Because they raise money for everyone’s defense…money that somehow ends up Matthis Chiroux’s nose. But the point here is that these “veterans” are doing their best to undermine the military.

    And don’t forget about Geoffrey “Stolen Valor” Millard and his new bunk mate Steve Yoczik who plan to dismantle the DC National Guard for their summer Marxist project.

    They went to the DC Armory for a job fair where they scoped out their potential targets (in my opinion, they should have been investigating jobs, but that’s just me).

    Geoff and I took note of ideal spots to set up a table, as well as wheat pasting sites, but what stood out to us most of all was the complete lack of acknowledgment from the soldiers present. They saw us in our T-shirts, that much is for sure, but no real reaction of any kind and no one approached us.

    When we went inside to further test a potential reaction, I couldn’t help but laugh at all of the “mean machines” that were set up, including a chopper that had the ACU design on the seat, accompanied by the obligatory American flag wrapped on the fuel tank. That and the tricked out humvees, the huge tow truck, and even the mobile Army Experience Center (yes, a huge trailer with TVs on the outside and a walk-in section with the warning “Contains graphic scenes of war and acts of violence” (or some variation of that) really made me want to re-up…. almost as much as I want to scrub my face with Brillo pads…

    Lemme see…no one approached you, there was no reaction…and you were offended by the music and displays. Maybe that’s all because you aren’t welcomed there, because you don’t belong there. You belong in the IVAW House where you can stroke off to Rage Against the Machine, and tales of “almost” scoring a hairy-legged hippie chick at the Winter Soldier “testimonies. Or, in Millard’s case, almost scoring a hairy legged hippie dude.

    But this is a day-in-the-life of two deserters at the IVAW House – doing their best to undermine the order and discipline of the military. To try and bring everyone down to their cowardly level.

    Has anyone heard Adam Kokesh, congressional candidate in New Mexico and former resident of the IVAW House, condemn his former roomates and urine hoarders for their anti-American shenanigans?

  • Massa gropes us all

    Before you read this, go read David Bellavia’s five issues with Massa. It’s a masterpiece and one of the reasons I’m considering canonizing Bellavia.

    TSO sends us a link from the Washington Post about Eric Massa, the victim of “Old Guy” hate crimes perpetrated by his staffer. The last three paragraphs of the Washington Post article;

    After more than two decades in the Navy, during which he reached the rank of commander, Massa moved to Upstate New York to work for the manufacturing company Corning. In his official biography, he says he was laid off from his job because, “due to unfair free trade agreements, the company could not afford to keep those jobs in America.”

    Massa then became a professional staff member on the House Armed Services Committee. He says in his biography that he was an early critic of the Bush administration’s strategy for invading Iraq and that he was “forced out” of his Armed Services job for “standing up against the failed pre-war planning.” Congressional salary data on file at the Web site Legistorm shows that Massa was employed by the committee for eight months in 2003.

    Previously a Republican, Massa switched parties after leaving the House payroll and went on to work for the 2004 presidential campaign of retired Army Gen. Wesley K. Clark, for whom Massa had worked when Clark was supreme allied commander of NATO.

    Yeah, Corning is probably the fairest employer in New York State – they’ve resisted moving the company and outsourcing during the last thirty years of brutal oppression of the last three New York Administrations. They’ve bore every burden and paid any price to keep the New York business in New York State. Well, for everyone except Massa, apparently. And, oh, those free trade agreements – all Clinton Administration, boy-o.

    Then he was forced out of the House Armed Service Committee after eight months of being an abrasive turd. I wonder what “pre-war planning” went on in the House Armed Services Committee. Seems to me that was done at the Pentagon – or maybe in the deep recesses of the psyche contained in Massa’s fat head.

    But he found a home with Wesley Clark – probably reliving the staff tickle fights they used to have during the Kosovo operation. Clark paid him back with Vote Vets endorsements in 2006 and 2008.

    And now Massa resigns and it’s someone else’s fault just like every other job he hasn’t been able to hold. Like I said the other day, I hope his poor wife slaps the dog shit out of him morning before breakfast – and I hope he carries his useless ass back to South Carolina where he belongs.

  • CPT Bailey on Liddy Show

    Navy Captain Larry Baily, a Navy SEAL who spends a lot of his personal time and assets busting phony SEALs, will be on the G. Gordon Liddy radio show today. You can listen to it on the interwebbythingies. Apparently, Captain Bailey will be discussing Adam Kokesh’s candidacy run in New Mexico.

    The one time I’ve talked with Captain Baily on the phone, he had just finished telling a widow that her recently deceased husband wasn’t eligible for burial in Arlington despite the years of lies her husband had told her. He’s a straight shooter and a rock hard patriot.

    Below the jump is an open letter Captain Bailey sent out to New Mexico voters;

  • He has a name now.

    We have a ID on our John Doe that I wrote about in my last post thanks the efforts of IronKnight. The person in question is Staff Sergeant José Pequeño.

    When an insurgent pitched a grenade into his Humvee while he was reporting a suicide bomber, the explosion killed the driver and took the lower left two lobes from his brain. In the more than three years since he’s undergone a dozen and a half surgeries, his mother and sister have given up home, job, college, friends and all else to stay with him — and he has lived, despite his doctors’ predictions and expectations.

    And why did he volunteer to go back again?

    A US Marine Corps veteran and Army National Guardsman, Staff Sergeant José Pequeño returned to Iraq because he felt that would help some of his young Guardsmembers return home safely.

    Also it should be noted the difference in writing between the two authors.

    Tomorrow, take a moment to remember those who came home far from whole.
    Whether you believe in the war or not, the men and women who wear the uniforms of the US Armed Forces — and especially those whose service has marked them as irrevocably physically as it has spiritually and psychically — deserve a moment’s remembrance.

    Thank for that.

  • No. Screw Hollywood.

    There were years that I never attended any movie, because I was tired of being preached to by the drooling morons in Hollywood who couldn’t keep themselves out of mug shots. Finally, Private Ryan, Band of Brothers, They Were Soldiers, Blackhawk Down came out and I was tempted back to the theaters and even had HBO for awhile. But the latest line of garbage pollutes theaters – I can’t even remember the names of movies that drove me out the theaters.

    But at the Academy Awards, the film industry through the Bush years, disparaged everything about this country to ingratiate themselves with the intellectually vacant Left – they all stood around and gave handjobs to people like Michael Moore and Al Gore to influence the direction of politics.

    And last night they gave an academy award to a war movie. They couldn’t give an award to a war movie during the Bush years, but they could see their way clear to do it while a Democrat is President. I haven’t seen “Hurt Locker” so I’m not going to judge the movie. What I am going to judge are the nincompoops who gave out the award.

    My inbox filled up last night with people from the Right praising Hollywood for their “brave” “support” of the troops. What they did last night had nothing to do with bravery, or support for the troops. They voted to give the award to each other – for the same reasons they WOULDN’T give the award during the Bush years. Their own stupid vision of themselves, and the perception that they think the public has of them.

    To give Hollywood an iota of credit for “supporting the troops” last night is to forget the shit they dished us over the last decade. No. Screw Hollywood. They didn’t do anyone but themselves a favor last night. If we, on the right side of this war against terror, ignored them and their idiot opinions for the last nine years, why are we thanking them and praising them for their opinion last night? They’re just as stupid today as they were yesterday morning.

  • So who is it?

    I’ve been waiting for confirmation that the American who the Pakistanis claim is Adam Pearlman has been captured. Pearlman is the son of hippie goat herders in California, also known as Adam Gadahn, also known as the Pillsbury Doughboy of al Qaeda. Early reports yesterday seemed to confirm that Pearlman is in custody in Pakistan.

    But Fox News says there’s some doubt to the prisoner’s identity. I guess there are two fat white boys running around Pakistan. And what with the current administration policy of taking prisoners to Baskin Robbins for an ice cream cone between questions (hoping the brain-freeze will break the terrorists – it’s still not known if the administration has the approval of Tony Camerino yet) we probably won’t get a confirmation on his identity until the little fatty has had his fill of banana splits. The word is that the CIA is withholding colorful sprinkles from Pearlman’s sundaes.

    I also hear that Adam Kokesh and Rand Paul are reaching out to Pearlman with requests that he endorse them for their respective primary runs during Pearlman’s interrogations.

    Of course, that hasn’t stopped you guys from inundating my mailbox with the announcement that Pearlman has been captured – thanks to all of you, but I was being cautious.

  • A thousand words indeed.

    Every once in a while I read the Rag Blog but stopped doing so as much because they just seem to copy whole articles and nothing else. But this one caught my eye. Here is the photo.

    Wounded Vet
    Wounded Vet

    I want you to look very closely at this picture and try and keep it in your minds eye. This was a perfectly healthy 22-year-old young man who in the service of his country got half of his head blown off. I think that’s important, I think that’s newsworthy. Let me tell you how newsworthy I think it is. I think that it’s more important than chocolate cake recipes and far more important than comic book reviews. It is more important than who fell and who’s swell at the winter Olympic games.

    It is far more important than any self-serving load of crap banged out by pseudo doctor Amy. It is more important than American Idol or Lost or any other mindless goat droppings the public chooses to chew on. This is some American mother’s son, her little boy, he may be gay or straight or transgender but his life is screwed forever.

    I was agreeing with this and most people here have said through words and actions over the past years. So I thought maybe that this was going to be one of few post that I agreed with. But that was quick to change.

    How did this come to happen to this poor mother’s son? It came to happen because the people in the media who are supposed to foster a public debate on such public issues as war instead used their franchise to promote articles about chocolate cake and comic book reviews. They see their free press as free to choose not to look when bad things happen. They feel no need to explain to his parents or to anyone that the war that blew off half of this poor boy’s head was based on out and out lies.

    It goes in to the usual statements on why everything we do and have done is beyond pardonable. But the thing that me upset is what is not being said. Like who is this person? What is his name? This author spend the first two paragraphs about how we are forgetting out those that are injured in this war. But seems to be perfectly happy letting this be a John Doe that to me seems is being used as just another prompt in his article. There is nothing about any of the issues or challenges that this Vet is facing or even if people can find was to help. Oh and there was the standard death count at the bottom of the article. Classy, just another way to show faceless death of our service members.

    Or unverifiable claims about civilian deaths. in a article that is suppose to be about why the media is ignoring our wounded Vets. Yes this is all in the same article.

    Because not content to ignore the current victims they support more crimes and call for more wars. Several years ago in Iraq parents waited for their children at a bus stop. An errant coalition missile struck the bus stop and blew the elementary school age children to pieces. Needless to say this wasn’t widely reported but the parents in a frenzy began fighting over the body parts of their children.

    You really think that things like that would not be noticed much less ignored the Press. Also because of the dateless event you can be ambiguous as you want to be leaving your detractors trying to prove a negative.

    So once again another service member gets used as a media prompt.

  • At VFP, the Crazy comes full circle

    It’s being reported on the fringe of the Left that Veterans For Peace (around here known as Geezers for Sitting on Our Hands) have brought their special brand of crazy full circle by demanding a new investigation into 9-11;

    Anti-war groups have long been regarded as deliberate gatekeepers to the 9/11 Truth (and anti-war) movement. But in 2009 VFP membership mushroomed with savvy new members who realized it wasn’t enough to protest the war if you didn’t protest the government lie that allowed it to happen. And most VFP members know the “Tonkin Resolution” was a deliberate lie – aka: “False Flag”.

    By 2008, an international team of scientists had published volumes of conclusive evidence for “explosive demolition” of the Twin Towers and WTC-7. This hard evidence and admissions by the 9/11 commission that they were “set up to fail” moved VFP members and leadership to pass a resolution to press for a new 9/11 investigation during their 2009 annual meeting.

    Here’s the kicker;

    Veterans draw on our personal experiences to raise public awareness of the true costs and consequences of militarism and war – and to seek peaceful, effective alternatives.

    As we’ve seen many times in our investigations of VFP members, most of them have only endured the difficulty and stress of a Basic trainee. Many have never seen combat, most have been booted out before their obligation ended for various malfeasance. So what “personal experiences” are they drawing from to question the 9-11 investigations? Their drug-induced hallucinations?
