  • The IVAW Braintrust

    So if you didn’t already know the person in the picture above, would you think he’s an iraq veteran? It’s Matthis, by the way, at the UXO concert. Photo is courtesy of Bill Perry. He doesn’t act like the crowning glory of his military career was occupying the corner booth at Baskin-Robbins on Bagram Airbase for six days.

    Well, anyway, the following exchange took place on Facebook between all of the great thinkers of IVAW past and present. carl Webb, Dahlia Wasfi, Carl Webb and Bobby Whittenberg. The discussion of course was over whether they should support killing US soldiers to satisfy their own bloodlust for the cause.

    The discussion begins with Matthis criticizing some soldier on Facebook for wishing some diplomatic solution hadn’t been arrived at in some corner of the war so hat soldier could resolve the problem with force. Of course, matthis and Branum jump on it as an example of the evils of the American fighting man. Carl Webb on the other hand, whines that he was uninvited from the IVAW convention because of racism, to which Dahlia Wasfi, race pimp that she is, agrees. Hart Viges, to his credit, explains to Carl, once again, that it was his extremist views that got him kicked out of IVAW. And that’s where we pick up the conversation;

    See Bobby Whittenberg expressing the same extremist and violent views that Carl Webb espoused last year? Yeah, that’s the guy that I dressed down (ex-) Army Sergeant for convincing him to stay in IVAW when he threatened to quit because they weren’t extreme enough for his taste.

    The only reason I’ve gone easy on Whittenberg is because he did earn a Purple Heart and because there is obviously something wrong with him (and no one in IVAW or VFP is telling him he needs help) and he’s being used by the rat fucks in Austin to play to the radical crowd there. The best thing IVAW could do for Bobby is cut him loose and get him some help – but the best thing for IVAW is to keep putting him in the front lines to act like he’s insane for the cameras – which they will continue to do until someone gets hurt.

    I have screen shots of the rest of the conversation, I just didn’t feel like uploading them all, but I will if a participant wants to dispute the conversation.

  • Sheehan, Matthis, and Brower trial delayed

    A couple of people have asked me what happened in the trial of Sheehan, Matthis and Elaine Brower last week. I’ll let the She-creature explain;

    I had an early flight out of Sacramento this morning and on my way to the airport at 6am, I got a message from one of our lawyers that the trial was going to be continued because a judge couldn’t be found due to some “judge’s conference.” So, from Monday to Wednesday, a Judge Convention (golf games?) arose which necessitated the postponement of our trial? I would like to believe that’s true, but with all of the other harassment and outright lies put together, I logically doubt the integrity of the court system. Not to mention the officer at the Park Police station who practically admitted that I was being singled out for harassment when he said, “If you would stop protesting this stuff would stop happening to you.”

    Not only all of the above, but I am calling for more protests in DC from July 4th to July 17th and I have a “stay away order” from the perimeter of the White House which includes the sidewalk in Lafayette Park that borders Pennsylvania Avenue. The order is in place until our trial-whenever that is going to be. This stay away order will seriously hamper and limit my right to free speech.

    I call “Shenanigans” on the entire episode-the system knows that we are correct about the wars and they know that our civil rights have been violated. The system should be on trial-not we anti-war activists.

    A nation built on lies seldom, if ever, wants to hear the truth.

    UPDATE: THE “LEGAL” SYSTEM IN DC IS SAYING THAT WE PROBABLY CAN’T RESCHEDULE THE TRIAL (FOR AN INFRACTION) UNTIL AUGUST, SEPTEMBER OR OCTOBER. THIS IS TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE FINANCIALLY AND CONSTITUTIONALLY. SINCE I HAVE ALREADY LOST HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS ON AIR-FARE AND DAYS OUT OF MY LIFE THAT I WILL NEVER GET BACK, ETC FOR THIS TRIAL, I AM DEMANDING MY SIXTH AMENDMENT RIGHT TO A SPEEDY TRIAL TO BE HELD WHEN I AM IN DC FOR SIZZLIN’ SUMMER PROTESTS IN JULY.

    THEY WANT TO BREAK ME, BUT I WASN’T BROKEN WHEN THEY KILLED MY SON–WHAT DO THEY THINK THEY CAN DO TO ME NOW?

    Actually, she’s pretty lucky. Her buddy, Hugo, has people in jail waiting for trial for years with no end in sight. But she just lost the cost of plane tickets, what’s the beef?

    Thanks to freebirdnavybrat for the link.

  • “You prick, you lied to us , you dick”

    From the P/Oed Patriot, by way of Gateway Pundit, a video from Lafayette Park yesterday of ANSWER wankers and some Code Pinkers (doing their best to ignore the REALLY UGLY dorks from ANSWER). Apparently, they thought that Obama was serious about getting out of the wars…and now he’s not.

    Maybe Obama is just ignoring the ugly people. I searched the crowd three times and didn’t see any IVAW people that I recognized.

  • Carl Webb gets butt-hurt

    I wrote the other day that Carl Webb was looking forward to attending the IVAW convention in Austin since it’s in his home town. But, according to his Facebook entry, he’s been uninvited;

    I see it but I don’t believe it. I’m sure I’ll find some pictures of Webb at the convention eventually. He can’t resist leaning in from the side of picture taking events. His buddy Bobby Whittenberg will get him in using Bobby’s psycho act or Doug Zachary will pitch a snit.

  • Ann Wright lies

    White House Protest 10-5-2009 (43)a

    Mary Ann Wright, the scraggly old bag in the front of the above picture, is a member of several anti-war groups in the US. She made headlines when she resigned from her State Department job over the invasion of Saddam’s Iraq. Ever since you can watch the former Reserve Colonel populate the ranks of Code Pink, VVAW, VFP and any other crowd of doofuses that needs her to wear a T-shirt in their front ranks.

    I’ve listened to her screeches at a thousand protests in DC and watched her antics on YouTube. Here’s her military record;

    Why the military record? To prove that she really was a military officer once, but you can see for yourself how that has no meaning to her anymore. Every time you see “Col. Ann Wright”, you can just toss that “Col.” shit aside because she certainly has.

    To refresh your memory about some of the things I’ve written about her, here’s a video taken last year. At about 1:32 you can see Wright begin screaming for no reason – there are no Israeli police near her, but she screams like a twelve-year-old girl and then runs around the back of the crowd and wedges herself between a barrier and a light pole and acts like the police shoved her into the predicament. Enjoy;

    She’s such a drama queen. Well, anyway she’s been spouting off that she witnessed the action on Mavi Marmara last week off the coast of Gaza;

    ” Wright says: “I just returned from the Gaza Freedom Flotilla and started my speaking tour last night in NYC to share what I witnessed aboard the flotilla, and what people can do to end the siege.”

    “I witnessed the Israeli attack that killed 9 persons and wounded 50 on the Gaza Flotilla… the murder of nine persons… Tragically, it took another example of disproportionate use of force by the Israeli military that resulted in the deaths of nine innocent civilians to force many governments of the world to call for the Israelis to end the siege of Gaza.”

    Yeah, except she now admits she wasn’t on the Mavi Marmara, but she tries to convince a reporter that she has night vision as well as telescopic vision and saw the whole thing from the Challenger, through the darkness from several hundred yards away. Oh, and she has super-hearing, too because she heard the captain of the Mavi Marmara order people to stop beating the Israeli commandos.

    Lerner: Col. Wright I just want to make sure again – so you actually were on a different boat and did not witness the attack firsthand.

    Wright: That’s correct.

    Lerner: So your witnessing is based on the information that you are getting from the other folks who were there.

    Wright: My witness will be specifically what happened on our ship, the Challenger. And then I can comment on what happened in the very first three or four minutes as the Israeli commandos were trying to board the ship. We saw that from the stern of the ship. But after that that’s when my witnessing from my own eyes of what happened on that ship would end.

    Oh, and she hasn’t bothered to see the YouTube video of the incident. In other words, she knew what she was going to say before the first Israeli commando stepped on the Mavi Marmara.

    Thanks to Ponsdorf for the heads up.

  • Army Experience Center to close doors

    After almost 2 years, $12 million, 40,000 visitors and 235 recruits, the Army Experience Center is shutting it’s doors at Philadelphia’s Franklin Mills Mall. Of course, the hippies are taking credit for the closure;

    Lepley said the demonstrations had nothing to do with the decision to close the center, but activist Elaine Brower, of Staten Island, N.Y., said she was thrilled. She had been particularly galled by the center’s mall location, between a skateboard park and an arcade.

    “We really consider this a major victory for us,” Brower said. “We are happy that they are not going to be in the mall.”

    The statistics should teach the hippies a lesson about their fears. Thirty-nine thousand seven hundred and sixty five visitors to the center decided not to join the Army. So what were the hippies scared of?

    This Ain’t Hell has covered the protests at the Center over the last few years and the protests were as anemic as they were baseless.

    I’d wager that Elaine Brower’s Baby Killer video did more harm to the troops than the Army Experience center ever could.

  • Email from Bradley Manning

    The email from Bradley Manning, the leaker of the “Collateral Murder” video appeared in the Washington Post this morning. Of course the Post tries to make him appear to be a sympathetic figure from a broken home, homeless at one point until he found the Army. Then the Army tossed him aside when he struck a fellow soldier recently.

    “I’m an army intelligence analyst, deployed to eastern baghdad, pending discharge for ‘adjustment disorder,’ ” Manning said by way of introducing himself to Lamo, who had recently been profiled on the Web site of Wired magazine.

    “If you had unprecedented access to classified networks 14 hours a day 7 days a week for 8+ months, what would you do?” he wrote.

    Turns out that Manning isn’t “pending discharge for ‘adjustment disorder…”, or at least he wasn’t when communicating with Lamo.

    In a phone interview, Lamo said he does not know what prompted Manning to allegedly leak. “I think it was a confluence of things — being a thin, nerdy, geeky type in an Army culture of machismo, of seeing injustice,” he said.

    Guess what? There are thousands of “thin, nerdy, geeky types” in the Army who don’t leak classified material.

    It’s “important that it gets out . . . i feel, for some bizarre reason . . . it might actually change something,” he said.

    Everyone wants to change something these days. Some shit is better off left alone, but you can’t tell that to idiots and fools out to make a name for themselves. They should toss this 22-year-old deep under ground for a few decades so he can see how much shit changes without him.

  • Elaine Brower, Matthis and Cindy Sheehan headed to court

    Someone sent me this link yesterday from Cindy Sheen’s blog about the “Trial of the Century” in which Cindy tries to rally the peace troops to protest against her arrest and subsequent imprisonment for several hours. The most instructive part the post is the statement from Elaine Brower;

    “My son served 3 combat tours as a US Marine. My family suffered tremendous strain and stress with each re-deployment, and we were lucky to see him come home alive, but broken in a way that no one understands except the small percentage of families who are asked to make sacrifices for the illegal, illegitimate and immoral wars and occupations that this government refuses to end. I was participating in a peaceful protest allegedly safeguarded under the first amendment against furthering the deaths of millions of people. It is an outrage that we have no redress of our grievances, and spent 52 hours in jail because of it.”

    Notice how quickly she drags out her son’s service as shield to hide behind. That’s a bit different than her sentiments in the video I linked the other day in which she called some helicopter pilots on Coney Island “baby killers”. I guess it’s OK for her to disparage the service of other mothers’ sons, while she hides behind her own son’s honorable service.

    Hypocrite.

    The thing about Brower is that she’s proud of the fact that her politics are the polar opposite of her ex-husband, her parents, virtually everyone she knows. I get the feeling that she is being contrary strictly for the sake of being contrary. Like a two-year-old child.
