Category: Antiwar crowd

  • Yeah, I hate hippies, so what’s your point?

    Conor Friedersdorf, whoever he is, wrote a piece in the Atlantic about how the anti-war hippies were mistreated by the media during the War Against Hussein’s Iraq and somehow it was about “hatred and resentment”. As someone who spent an inordinate amount of time among the filthy beasts, I think I can testify that they deserved every bit of that “hatred and resentment”.

    The first anti-war protest I attended was weeks after the attacks of 9-11. You see the protest had been planned long before the attacks had occurred and what had originally been an anti-Bush protest morphed into an anti-war protest. I wish I still had the pictures of bushy-headed hippie turds waving Soviet and Chinese flags wearing their trendy Che Guevara t-shirts and pushing their Marxist pamphlets on tourists. All of which had something to do with the impending war in Afghanistan.

    The article in the Atlantic bemoans the pro-Iraq War crowd calling the hippies “tools”, but it fails to mention that the first pro-Saddam actions was when “human shields” traveled to Iraq ostensibly to protect the Iraqi people, but Hussein used them to shield his military installations and chemical plants. Even those hippies started having second thoughts about their usefulness.

    There were few anti-war protests after the one in 2001 until about January 2007 when I went to one in DC. I rode the train with hundreds of union members who were forced to attend the march and pad the ranks. Just like the protesters who made weekly appearances at Walter Reed to reinforce the weak numbers of Code Pinkists and MoveOnists who did their best to harass the returning wounded from the war every Friday night. Yeah, nothing to dislike there, huh?

    There was the Mothers’ Day protest, i think it was 2004 or 2003, when I saw several women holding a “Mothers Against the War” banner in front of the White House. I asked them how many were really mothers, two raised their hands, so I asked how many had children in the military – one raised her hand. A little more grilling and she finally admitted that her son had been in the first Gulf War, but not the current war against Hussein. So out of about 15 women holding a “Mothers Against the War” banner, none were actually mothers of soldiers in the Iraq War, and they weren’t shy at all about their obvious deceit.

    By the way, the Park Police had to escort me out of Lafayette Park that day because I was surrounded by peace-loving hippies who threatened me and my wife for asking embarrassing questions.

    You can thumb through the archives of this blog and see countless examples of the protesters just being assholes and you can tell that the protests were nothing more than recruitment activities for communists and Marxists. That’s how Lenin attracted communists and socialists to the Russian Revolution during the 1st World War by gloming on to the anti-war protests. So, if the Atlantic is trying to rewrite history by claiming that the protesters had something of value to add to the discussion, I’d say the author never set foot among the protesters. They were nothing but anti-Bush protesters and communist recruiters.

  • Hippies punished in Highland Falls, NY

    Highland Falls criminals

    Yeah, I know we haven’t heard much from the filthy band of dregs attached to Matthis and Elaine Brower lately, until today when we hear the results of their arrest way back on December 1, 2009 outside West Point. Thanks to Deborah Sweet for the report;

    Six anti-war activists and leaders, aged 30 through 75 were sentenced on March 19 to eight hours “community service,” and $125 court costs for a disorderly conduct conviction arising from a protest 300 people made December 1, 2009, when Obama announced, inside the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, a huge expansion of US troops to Afghanistan.

    Elaine Brower, Matthis Chiroux, Tarak Kauff, Alison Beth Levy, and Richie Marini agreed to serve the time, washing Highland Falls, NY, ambulances and police cars, and pay the fee. Beverly Rice asked that she be able to send funds instead to the National Lawyers Guild, and when that was denied, she took jail time, on the basis of conscience. Her sentence was ten days at the Orange County jail, where she was taken immediately. The sheriff says Bev, 75, will be released early.

    Of course, Brower was the most vociferous of the group – that Staten Island persona, ya know;

    Elaine Brower said she had been outside the gate at West Point to “petition my government” to stop the war. “My son did ten years in the Marine Corps, two tours in Iraq and one in Afghanistan. He has done horrible things” as part of the U.S. war on those countries. She said “I am seeing that injustice in the eyes of my son who is emotionally wounded.”

    Still picking on her son and hiding behind his service to justify her bad behavior.

    I’m just glad that some judge, somewhere finally summoned the testicular fortitude to punish the filthy beasts. And for someone who claims to be ashamed of his service, Matthis sure wears his uniform an awful lot.

  • Seems that calling Soldiers Child killers in still in style

    Ran into this on facebook from a re-post.

    Hippies calling Soliders child killers

    And the comments are about the same from the group.

    It’s time to stand up for your convictions. Moral people disobey immoral laws! HAVING KIDS TO FEED DOESN’T GIVE ANYONE THE RIGHT TO DO IT AT THE EXPENSE OF STARVING, KILLING, TORTURING AND PLUNDERING THE KIDS OF OTHERS! COMPASSION FOR THOSE WHO KILL ON ORDERS?!?!? HOW ABOUT COMPASSION FOR THOSE THEY KILLED YOU F*CKING HYPOCRITES!!! WHY NOT BEING COMPASSIONATE FOR THE TALIBAN & IRAQI PEOPLE THAT HAD THEIR CHILDREN BLOWN OUT AND THEIR PARENTS HOMES DESTROYED AND THEIR FAMILY AND FRIENDS TORTURED AND INCARCERATED. Soldiers are not the reason the American bourgeois elitists want to plunder the world, but THEY ARE the reason they have the ability to do so! STOP OBEYING IMMORAL ORDERS!

    Don’t go to war, and you won’t kill them

    Look at the face of the soldier, the expression of her face says it all ….

    Wars will never end untill there will be idiots ready to kill for no reason.

    There are no real soldiers any more, what you have are mercenaries.

    Wish I could feel comfortable sharing this, I have too many vets on my list.

    To whoever said not all the soldiers are bad – yes they are. They made a conscious choice to go to war and to KILL people. As far as I know you go to jail for killing, unless you work for a corporation, err I mean government.

    Wow it’s crazy how ignorant and blind people can be. Americans get pissed and sad when people kill our children yet were murdering thousands of innocent children everyday in other countries.… Wake the fuck up cuz karma is a bitch.

    ^ and i’d appreciate it if you’d quit murdering for a paycheck.

    To people defending soldiers because they were “brainwashed”, “couldn’t make an informed decision”, “were just following orders”, “wanted to bring food to their family table” and all that shit: the decision in a nutshell is – TO KILL OR NOT TO KILL FOR MONEY. Now imagine how much pain all those crying soldiers brought to other people. Or is it okay, because they’re enemies?

    Wtf is wrong with you brainwashed killer robots? THERE IS NO DRAFT, NOBODY FORCED YOU TO ENLIST. STOP COMPLAINING ABOUT SOMETHING YOU VOLUNTARILY SIGNED UP FOR SO YOU COULD GET PAAAIIIDDDD $$$$$$$

    I want so badly to say this is in poor taste and wrong. But the sad reality is that its true… as much as we dont want to believe it is, its true. I do support our troops, but they are fighting for the special interest groups. They think they are fighting for our freedom… that is what the whole nation has been brainwashed to believe. But our loved ones, ARE killing their loved ones… under false premises. A very sad truth.

    SUPPORT THE TROOP IS SUPPORTING MURDER! Not about supporting the individual trooper but the policy that sends them all over the globe to, kill, torture and plunder… “Oh but it’s not the troops but the psychopathic leaders”… BULLSHIT! All have their part of the blame. There will always be psychopaths in the world, but organized murder and theft in the form of war and plunder exists because there are hundreds of thousands SELFISH, IGNORANT CITIZENS all over the world “just obeying orders”, agreeing to suspend judgment and be the agent of injustice to another. Support the troops? HELL NO!!! People need to wake up and criticize ANY kind of unethical conduct and violence not just selfishly blame the one directed towards you and your close ones and at the same time support doing it to others… instead of “supporting the MURDERING troops” you hypocrites! Because that’s why those young men are fooled in the first place… they’re stupid and indoctrinated with patriotic/nationalistic and religious crap the exact same way slaves (citizens) are indoctrinated in Iran, China, S Korea, Africa, South America and everywhere else. They think it’s honorable because the ignorant masses “support the troops” and glorify them and their genocidal atrocities. Supporting the troops, ANY TROOP FROM WHICH EVER COUNTRY, you support MAYHEM AND MURDER. WANT TO PUT AN END TO WAR? STOP SUPPORTING VIOLENCE, NOT JUST INDIVIDUAL VIOLENCE BUT ORGANIZED VIOLENCE FOR THE BENEFIT OF A PRIVILEGED MINORITY! “Oh but I didn’t know the reasons behind the military intervention”… BUT YOU STILL WENT THERE AND DID YOUR JOB, YOU KILLED AND TORTURED AND RAPED AND PLUNDER! Whether because of some indoctrinated ideology or for the 2000$ a month, YOU AGREED TO BE A MURDER SOMEWHERE ALONG THE WAY. WAKE THE FUCK UP AND SMELL THE GENOCIDE!

    But don’t worry in thirty years people will say that this here was all a myth and never really happened.

  • War weary or anti-war weary?

    ROS sends us a link to the Washington Post‘s Jennifer Rubin who notices that the Obama Administration backed away from it’s lack of serious defensive posture against North Korea on our West Coast. She (Rubin) says that we (Conservatives) shouldn’t be so quick to say “we told you so” otherwise we’ll be playing into the hands of the Left who says that hawks “convey the impression that they want unending conflict”. Yeah, we’ve had unending conflict, in some form or another, since the end of the Second World War.

    A lot of that conflict was within our own country. Even in 1920, anti-war commie Eugene V. Debs ran for president from a jail cell where he was cached for opposing World War I. In the years leading up to the Second World War, the communists opposed go to war against Germany, well, until the Germans launched Operation Barbarossa against the Soviets – then they were all for it.

    Of course, we all remember the hippies of the 60s and their opposition to the war and more recently the war against terror which even began opposing wars in which we weren’t engaged yet. The VFP, Code Pink and IVAW were protesting a war against Iran back in 2006. I’d submit that we’re more weary of the anti-war profiteers than actual war.

    The anti-war crowd gives hope to every tin-pot dictator that he can defeat the US. Hussein’s whole strategy revolved around waiting until the political pressure at home forced us to leave Iraq, like it had in Somalia. Does North Korea really think that it can successfully beat us in an all-out war? Of course not, they only want us to cave into their ridiculously comical pressure and send Jimmy Carter back with bags of money.

    The first Gulf War ended too quickly for the anti-war crowd to organize and they didn’t take chances before the second invasion of Hussein’s Iraq. They went there to become “human shields” for his critical war-making industries before the first shots. Three Congressmen went to Iraq and stood on Hussein’s palace roof and declared that Hussein was more trustworthy than our own President Bush. they complained that we were rushing to war, even though it took more than a year and Hussein had countless opportunities to stop the “rush”.

    Maybe the American public is more weary of the shrieking harpies in the anti-war Left who only lengthen the wars in which we’re involved by lending comfort and moral support to our enemies. The only reason Iran continues marching forward with their nuclear program is because they know that they have the sympathies of the protesters who will intervene to prevent the Iranians from having to suffer any real consequences.

    The only thing more comical than offering al Qaeda or the Taliban at a negotiating table for peace in Afghanistan is listening to the morons who think those talks will actually work.

  • Micah Turner; the wanted man no one wants

    The good folks at US News and World Reports send us a link to their latest article on Micah Turner. It seems that he’s so wanted that no one wants to touch him. According to the article, He’s tried to turn himself into the New York City police and to authorities at Fort Hamilton, but he’s still on the loose;

    Alison Kohler, a spokeswoman for Fort Hamilton, confirmed to U.S. News that Turner had “made contact with our installation” and said that he was expected to arrive Tuesday for processing. It is unclear whether Turner will face charges for his absence, though he previously said he believed he would face felony charges.

    Um, today is Tuesday, right? The article continues that he’s headed to Buffalo to link up with the filthy hippies up there. I know we have more than a few friends up there who can land a good throat punch for us.

    Whoever said that he was an illustrator in a pschyops unit called it correctly. I guess that’s why he couldn’t stand to support the war against terror any longer – the things he colored haunt his dreams. And the memory of that time his crayon went outside the line still wakes him up in a cold sweat. Or something.

    Turner told the assembled audience in New York Sunday that he was in Afghanistan the night al-Qaeda founder Osama bin Laden was killed in Pakistan, and remembered his fellow soldiers asking “Is the war over? Should we pack up?”

    “But the word never came, and a lot of good men died that year,” said Turner. “There is no justification for this war. There is no reason our brothers and sisters should die in the sand… It is my duty to dissent.”

    Yeah, thanks. We need a cartoonist to tell us how we should formulate foreign policy. The US News says that Turner was promoted to Sergeant last September, well after bin laden was killed, so I guess he didn’t mind the pay raise while he thought the war should have been over. The Army also says that they only have a record of one deployment, August 2009 to February 2010, despite Turner’s claim that he has four deployments. His deployment dates don’t coincide with the death of bin Laden (May 1, 2011) like he claims, either. Of course, he claims that Army records are screwed up, but we should believe the criminal on the lamb.

  • Coalition of Veterans’ Organizations urge troops to refuse deployment

    KOMO News reports that some derelicts in Washington State are urging deploying troops from Joint Base Lewis-McChord to ignore their deployment orders. they call themselves Coalition of Veterans’ Organizations. I’d never heard of them before, and looking for their presence online tells me why. They’re a coalition of organizations I’d never heard of before, well, except the 555th Parachute Infantry Association “Triple Nickle” which was an association of the Black paratroopers of WWII. The last I knew, they were pretty much defunct because of membership numbers or the lack thereof. It was a small group to begin with and time has taken a toll on membership around the country. I know that the Triplenickel in the DC area had folded themselves into the 82 Airborne Division Association a few years back.

    In the article, they mention one member of the VCO, Gerry Condon.

    Army veterans say going for conscientious objector status is a better way.

    “There are actually some alternatives. They’re not necessarily easy ones; there’s no guarantees,” said Vietnam war resister Gerry Condon.

    Condon was a special forces medic in the Vietnam era who fled the U.S.

    Of course he was a special forces medic. Here’s his bio from another website where he’s advocating for Brianna Manning;

    In 1968, Gerry Condon refused Army orders to deploy to Vietnam, for which he was court-martialed and sentenced to 10 years in prison and a Dishonorable Discharge. But Gerry was able to escape from Fort Bragg, North Carolina and leave the U.S. For six years he lived in Sweden and Canada, where he organized against the war and for amnesty for all war resisters. Gerry is an active member of Veterans For Peace and co-chair of its GI Resistance Working Group. He serves on the steering committee of the Bradley Manning Support Network.

    He was probably a medic in the 82d, because 1968 was the year that the Golden Brigade deployed to Vietnam, but being “special” sounds cooler, I suppose. So he never really went to Vietnam, but tossing that in makes him sound more authoritative on the subject.

    The article also mentions Mike Prysner who we’ve known for years here.

    “We signed up to serve our country, but we didn’t sign up to have our lives thrown away in a political chess game,” Prysner said.

    We? Prysner must have a mouse in his pocket because he had his life in danger. he wears his old uniform every chance he gets so we know he has no CAB (and we have his records at the link) and it’s a pretty good bet that he never left the wire as a radar operator. He founded ANSWER’s March Forward, their veterans arm, because Prysner didn’t think IVAW was radical enough. He also tried to run for the board of directors at IVAW in a failed attempted coup to turn the organization more radical.

    So that “Coalition of Veterans’ Organizations” is nothing more than the usual suspects under a different banner.

    Thanks to Kateser and CB for the link.

  • Occupy the VA

    JP sends us a link to another video from the Occupy DC folks which was posted the other day. It looks like, for some reason, a bunch of scruffy-looking folks claiming to be veterans were denied access to the VA building on Vermont Ave. in DC, a few blocks from the White House;

    They claim that they’re trying to get into the building to get treatment, but there’s no treatment available at that building. The Department of Homeland Security Police are preventing them from entering. The Department of Homeland Security police are different from the Department of Homeland Security in that they only act as local law enforcement, the FBI has FBI police, too. They aren’t agents only police.

    The little fat turd making the most noise is Bill Perry. Perry was one of the original Vietnam Veterans Against the War who testified at Winter Soldier along with John Kerry. Perry told me once that his testimony at WInter Soldier was “complete bullshit” that he told the stories just so he could score some hairy-legged hippie chicks. After I told the world what he said, Perry, along with Ward Reilly, threatened to kick my ass. Needless to say, I laughed at him and continued to interview him and Reilly. Perry is still in Veterans For Peace, along with the rest of those losers.

    By the way, Perry claims that he’s VSO rep, but I can tell you the names of at least one person who had their claim at the DVA dropped because Perry didn’t follow up on the application. He’s a VSO rep only so he can lie to more people.

  • Micah Turner; deserter (Updated)

    Phil sends us a link from YouTube which was posted on October 6th of Micah Turner. AKO says he was a sergeant at Fort Bragg and he’s surrounding himself with smelly hippies celebrating the fact that since he went AWOL 30 days before this video, he’s now a deserter. It looks like he’s making his little press conference at the Occupy DC camp a few blocks from the White House.

    I think he’s trying to make a point, but since the war in Afghanistan is over, for all intents and purposes, I don’t know what that point could be.

    Yes, I know people are still fighting and dying in Afghanistan, but this administration is doing it’s best to not win the war. I also wonder why we’re still over there, but since this administration has as it’s only strategy to withdraw, former sergeant Turner is pretty much joining in the rush for the exits.

    He kind of reminds me of Ward Reilly who claims he went AWOL in Germany to protest the Vietnam War at a time when there were no more combat troops in Vietnam. Yeah, I’m sure the hippies love Turner, but I think he needs a throat punch. Using your uniform to make a political statement is never cool. Luckily, he won’t be a sergeant long after he turns himself in at his unit, like he promises. And I’m sure there’s someone at his unit that will give him the throat punch he deserves.

    Thanks to Phil for the video.

    Update:Seems that he tried to turn himself into a local police station that did not seem interested in it. ALso it seems that he is all about the drama by taking photos of himself in front of a Army Recruiting station and at Fort Hamilton. Here is another video that was made yesterday by him.
