  • I Do Love Irony

I know little about The Real News Blog in general, and this story specifically. I’ve met that lot and still think my point fits.

Benjamin recently told an interviewer that she was delighted that the Muslim Brotherhood was making political inroads in Egypt. “I have faith in so many of the secular people who just came to [Tahrir] Square and said, “I’m not leaving here,” and for the first time made relationships with the Muslim Brotherhood people.”

Bottom line is that these folks have a warped and delusional view of the world… or they choose to ignore reality in favor of of their agenda.

In either case they are in for a VERY rude awakening if they accomplish their goals.

I DO think that defines irony?

  • John Kerry and Karma

Sometimes Karma is wasted. This might be one of those times.

    Kerry heckled by anti-war types.

Anti-war protesters interrupted Kerry numerous times Saturday as he met with constituents.

Picturing Lurch faced with this lot simply made my day.

Mind you, he is so dense that I doubt it impacted him, but it made me smile enough to impose myself on TAH.

Update:  Someone gets the irony I call Karma. Check out Don’s items 12 and 13.

This is posted via my blog, and the research comes from Kriste who posts there and wrote this piece.

PFC Charles N. DeGlopper, Company C, 325th Glider Infantry, 82nd Airborne Division

Thanks to the efforts of Paul Mullen, a 64-year-old Vietnam War veteran, Fort Bragg has stepped up and done the right thing. They’ve returned Private First Class Charles N. DeGlopper to his original place of honor on post. In June of 2010, a portion of “DeGlopper Street” on Fort Bragg was renamed “As Samawah Street” in honor of the battle fought in that Iraqi city by soldiers of the 325th Infantry Regiment, 82nd Airborne Division in April, 2003.
