  • Jesse Jackson Threatens to Cut Barry’s Nuts Out!

O’Reilly is going to play it tonight but apparently Jesse Jackson was caught on a hot mic advocating the removal of Senator Obama’s testicles.

Jackson has already released a statement:

Jackson Statement: For any harm or hurt that this hot mic private conversation may have caused, I apologize. My support for Senator Obama_s campaign is wide, deep and unequivocal. I cherish this redemptive and historical moment.

_My appeal was for the moral content of his message to not only deal with the personal and moral responsibility of black males, but to deal with the collective moral responsibility of government and the public policy which would be a corrective action for the lack of good choices that often led to their irresponsibility.

_That was the context of my private conversation and it does not reflect any disparagement on my part for the historic event in which we are involved or my pride in Senator Barack Obama, who is leading it, whom I have supported by crisscrossing this nation in every level of media and audience from the beginning in absolute terms.

In all honesty, I think Michelle took care of that task years ago.

  • FISA Bill Passes, Left Implodes

The FISA Bill passed (handily 69-28) with telecom immunity and the Messiah voted for it!

The left side of the blogosphere has officially imploded!

Here is a just a sample.

    F*** Reid, F*** Pelosi, F*** Hoyer, F***Rockefeller, and , yes, F*** Obama. F*** ‘em all!

After 2 years, the Dems have given Bush everything he wanted, from a trillion dollars for Iraq, to the destruction of the Constitution. Now Bush walks away. He gets away with murder, war crimes, and treason. Things will be worse under McCain? They won’t, because they already are. If this FISA vote goes through, I am closing my checkbook and resigning from the Democratic Party after 45 years. I had high hopes in 2006, and after Obama’s nomination, but it is now clear that the Democrats are congenital cowards. Nothing is going to change.

Interestingly Hillary voted against it. Hmmm?

  • Pelosi’s Brain Trust

Nancy Pelosi is calling on the President to release a “small” amount of oil from the Strategic Oil Reserve.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is calling on President Bush to release oil from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve in order to bring down prices.

Pelosi (D-Calif.) announced to Democratic leaders Tuesday night that she has written a letter to President Bush, urging him to release a “small” amount of oil from the government stockpile to increase supply and decrease prices, a leadership aide said.

To that end, Pelosi launched her crack team to get on television and advocate releasing a “drop in the bucket” solution that will solve nothing.

First out today was Representative Xavier Becerra is Assistant to the Speaker of the House and is the only member from Southern California currently serving on the powerful House Committee on Ways and Means.

He showed up on the Neil Cavuto show today (hosted by David Asman). Becerra was babbling about stabilizing oil prices and discouraging speculators. It was actually painful to watch; I almost felt embarrassed for the congressman in that he was clearly talking about something of which he is clueless.

Finally Asman asked him, “procedurally, how do you get that oil to the market?” Becerra had no clue and it was obvious.

Ironically, Pelosi’s “solution” reinforces what Republicans have been saying all along; increase supply and prices will lower.

In response to Pelosi’s letter, House Republican Leader John A. Boehner (R-Ohio) said the speaker’s call amounts to “admitting yet again that increasing the supply of oil will help reduce the price of gasoline.”

“Today’s proposal by Speaker Pelosi is another acknowledgment that we must do more to increase our energy supply,” Boehner said, “and House Republicans will continue pushing Democratic leaders to act on real reforms on behalf of the American people.”

  • The Surge has Failed

Only a truly brain dead buffoon can keep chanting the “Surge has failed”; even the Messiah and that mouth-breathing, traitorous old fool Murtha can see it.

    But apparently not Arianna Huffington:

John McCain, aided and abetted by his loving protectors in the media, is running a victory lap on Iraq. To hear them tell it, the surge has “worked” — indeed, it has been a huge success — and this, like a last second Hail Mary pass, has vindicated the entire disastrous Iraq misadventure.

But here we are, 18 months later, and McCain and the GOP are being allowed to change the goal. And, surprise, surprise, the retroactive goal they’ve chosen is remarkably similar to the current situation in Iraq: violence is down while the “progress in other critical areas” is sorely lagging.

No surprise then that, according to the Times, experts think real reconciliation in Iraq could take decades.
And this is the good news out of Iraq.
    ………..
Of course, the “imminent threat” turned out to be non-existent, and our presence in Iraq has strengthened the hand of every bad actor in the region: al Qaeda is safe and adding recruits, Hamas has come to power in Palestine, Hezbollah has reasserted itself in Lebanon, and Iran has become the strongest player in Iraq. Meanwhile, the reduction in casualties in Iraq is starting to be offset by increased casualties in Afghanistan .. So, tell me again: how is the surge working?

I know it’s difficult to understand Ms. Huffington’s position so let me shine a bit of light on it for you. After all we are all about helping our readers understand some the radically idiotic statements from the left.

Often times it is nothing more complicated than a grand lie and other times it is the overt omission of facts (See Jonn’s earlier post today about timelines). This one gets a bit trickier in that we have to invoke the time-space continuum to explain it.

Not too long ago American Progress (an uber-leftist website) reported:

Total Benchmarks: 3 of 18 Accomplished

On the one year anniversary of President Bush’s State of the Union address justifying his “New Way Forward” in Iraq, it is clear that the surge has failed to meet its objectives. One year ago, the president pledged that “America will hold the Iraqi government to the benchmarks it has announced.” Despite the fact that the Iraqi government has only met three of the 18 benchmarks laid out last year, an end to U.S. military and financial commitment is nowhere in sight.

Okay, now for the time warp problem. That was written on January 24, 2008. Our crack staff of researchers at This Ain’t Hell have determined that this is probably the exact date that Ms. Huffington forced her head up her ass. It is also fairly clear that it is still there.

MSNBC (hardly a staunch mouthpiece of the Bush administration) this week reported:

The White House sees the progress in a particularly positive light, declaring in a new assessment to Congress that Iraq’s efforts on 15 of 18 benchmarks are “satisfactory” — almost twice what it determined to be the case a year ago.

As for the rest of her totally empty platitudes, let’s look a little deeper. The only source she cites in the entire article is the New York Times which is either lazy, incompetent blogging or simply regurgitating the leftist spin of the NYT.

Al Qaeda is not safe; in fact they are being killed on a scale that they can not sustain.

Al Qaeda’s recruiting is in the tank. They are forced to use women and the mentally impaired.

Hamas and Hezbollah would be non-existent were it not for the leftists at the UN and in the US congress. Why doesn’t some Arab country welcome the Palestinians? Because they do not want them and have expelled them repeatedly for years.

The military death toll is in fact higher in Afghanistan. It’s closely reaching levels of New Orleans or Detroit to a level that reached 46 which includes all coalition forces, not just Americans (a little distinction that the NYT does not mention). While 46 is a tragedy, there is no mention of the hundreds of terrorists killed in the same period.

Note to Democrats; next time you decide to send me links from a mouthpiece make sure her head has been extracted from her ass.

  • Jim Webb Bails, Richard Wails

    jimwebb.gif

Sorry Richard, that was too easy and totally of your own making. Don’t make me post the man-crush comments that you have sent on Jim “Damn my head is enormous” Webb. Hey, he got fired as a Republican so the only recourse was the “feeling” party.

Apparently Webb is not entirely down with Barry.

Sen. Jim Webb said Monday he will not be Barack Obama ’s running mate.
“Under no circumstances will I be a candidate for vice president,” the Virginia Democrat said in a statement released to reporters.

Webb’s appeal to rural conservatives and his background as a combat veteran and former Navy secretary in a Republican presidential administration have been cited as reasons Obama might consider him for the second spot on the Democratic ticket.

But a national campaign is not in Webb’s plans.

This is bad news for a couple of folks.

Number one is Barry. He already tossed Wesley Clark who he never really considered anyway and now Webb has hung up on him. Unless Colin Powell decides to commit political suicide, he is in real trouble on the military and foreign relations issues. Actually, other than being a socialist manipulator, he’s amazingly weak on all issues.

Number two is me. I think I wanted Webb on the ticket as much as Richard did; for totally different reasons of course. I was so looking forward to lampooning this totally empty opportunist.

Oh yeah, and I liked making graphics of shit being caught up in the gravitational pull of his enormous head.

  • Party Unity Continues to Elude Barry

    barackobamabus_flipflopexpress.gif

I don’t think the Messiah has managed this whole party unity thing just yet.

Here’s another “Under the bus” list; only this one is from a group of hardcore Democrats and they are clearly not very happy.
    Who’s next under the bus?
    1. Rep. Alice Palmer, 12/18/95

    32. MoveOn.org, 6/30/08
    33. Welfare recipients, 7/1/08
    33. Ending the Iraq war, 7/2/08

I know that a lot of folks on the right are not real happy with John McCain (me included) but I haven’t seen anything like this from Republican groups.
This fight is far from over sports fans; just wait for the freak show that will happen in Denver.

  • Cracks in Obama’s Base?

Crack is probably an understatement; as I will attempt to demonstrate.

I get a lot of kooky emails. One of the latest accused me “and those of the same fascist ilk” of trolling on lefty sites and acting like liberals and blasting the Messiah. Obviously my “ilk” and I are deliberately undermining the greatest human being that ever lived by trolling lefty blogs and trying to sow the seeds of sedition in the second coming movement.

An example of this may be seen here:

Call him slippery or nuanced, Barack Obama’s core position on Iraq has always been more ambiguous than audacious. Now it is catching up with him as his latest remarks are questioned by the Republicans, the mainstream media, and the antiwar movement. He could put his candidacy at risk if his audacity continues to shrivel.
    …………..
The most shocking aspect of Samantha Powers’ forced resignation earlier this year was not that she called Hillary Clinton a “monster” off-camera, but that she flatly stated that Obama would review his whole position on Iraq once becoming president. Again, no one in the media or rival campaigns questioned whether this assertion by Powers was true. Since Obama credited Powers with helping for months in writing his book, The Audacity of Hope, her comments on his inner thinking should have been pounced upon by the pundits.

That is truly a damning expose of Obama but I didn’t write it, neither did anyone else in my “bigoted ilk”.

This was written by Tom Hayden at the Huffington Post. For those of you lefties who don’t know much about socialist history, check this out.

It seems to me that there were basically two groups of folks that catapulted Obama from obscurity to presumptive democrat nominee. The true socialist that he is tossing as fast as he can and the mindless groupies who lack the intellectual capacity or honesty to see that he is nothing more than a hack politician.

Sometimes you get what you ask for.

  • That is not the Iraq Withdrawal Plan that I Knew

    che_obama.gif

Senator Obama came into this election desperately needing to find a way to grab a sizable piece of the democrat base from a living icon of the democrat party machine; Hillary Clinton.

It seemed a long shot at best. Sure he was young and certainly liberal enough; he gave a great speech back in 2004, but he was planning to lock horns with the Clintons. No small task for the neophyte liberal from Chicago.

But he had a wildcard and he knew how to play it without looking like a Kucinich.

Hillary Clinton voted for the authorization to use force in Iraq and Obama did not. She tried to lie her way around that but couldn’t. Obama wasn’t even in the Senate when that vote was taken but he did speak out against the war.

Obama also knew that a huge number among the democrat base are neurologically anti-war and he played these dolts like a fiddle. His claim was always being more anti-war than Hillary and screaming for immediate withdrawal (though impossible) resonated better with this crowd than Hillary’s less catastrophic phased redeployment plan.

    From www.barackobama.com/issues/iraq:

Obama will immediately begin to remove our troops from Iraq. He will remove one to two combat brigades each month, and have all of our combat brigades out of Iraq within 16 months. Obama will make it clear that we will not build any permanent bases in Iraq. He will keep some troops in Iraq to protect our embassy and diplomats; if al Qaeda attempts to build a base within Iraq, he will keep troops in Iraq or elsewhere in the region to carry out targeted strikes on al Qaeda.

That sounds pretty definitive to me. Obama becomes president in January 2009 and there will be zero combat brigades in Iraq in May 2010, right?

Not so fast there scooter, this week we got yet another dose of “Change”.

“I’ve always said that the pace of withdrawal would be dictated by the safety and security of our troops and the need to maintain stability. That assessment has not changed,” he said. “And when I go to Iraq and have a chance to talk to some of the commanders on the ground, I’m sure I’ll have more information and will continue to refine my policies.”

Refine my policies? Read that as: “Of course I’m not going to start pulling troops out while we’re winning. That would be recklessly stupid. I just said that timetable thing so the idiots in Hollywood and the brainless college students would vote for me. And it worked!”
