    Monday morning feel good stories

    From Vicksburg, Mississippi;

    A Vicksburg man was killed Saturday night while participating an apparent attempted home invasion at a house in the 3100 block of Valley Street, Vicksburg police Sgt. Johnnie Edwards said.

    Deangelo Eli Fields, 21, was declared dead at the scene by deputy Warren County coroner Kelda Bailess. His body was sent to the Mississippi State Crime Lab for an autopsy.

    Edwards said police responding to a call of a possible home invasion about 10 p.m. Saturday arrived to find Fields lying in the street with a gunshot wound. The homeowner said several men were trying to break into his house when Fields was shot.

    From Evansville, Indiana;

    One man is dead after a homeowner shot back during an attempted home invasion robbery in Evansville.

    “I was sitting in my car minding my own business,” said next door neighbor Sayda Bushrod.

    Coker, a usually quiet street, became the scene of a fatal shooting Saturday after 46-year-old Eric Thomas came armed to a home just before noon.

    “Then out of the blue it scared me half to death these girls were screaming bloody murder across the street,” said Bushrod.

    “When the homeowner came to the door he was armed with a handgun, during the encounter he felt threatened for himself and his wife and juvenile daughter,” said EPD Sgt. Jason Cullum.

    According to Evansville Police, the homeowner and Thomas knew each other, but it’s not confirmed how.

    “There was some type of exchange between him and the alleged home invasion robbery suspect there was an exchange of gunfire,” said Sgt. Cullum.

    Police arrived on scene and believe Thomas was attempting a home invasion robbery.

    He was shot multiple times by the homeowner and taken to a nearby hospital where he later died.

    From Salt Lake City, Utah;

    The Wyoming Highway Patrol is praising an Iraq War veteran for his role in apprehending a suspect and helping a trooper who was in danger of being shot.

    Trucker Darren Phillips of Taylorsville, Utah, pulled over after seeing an altercation between a trooper and a suspect Thursday near Green River, Wyoming, about 140 miles northeast of Salt Lake City.

    “I put my brakes on, and I jump out. And by this time, the trooper is on his back and the guy is on top of him,” Phillips told KSL-TV, Salt Lake City. “The trooper saw me running over and as soon as I got up to him, he says, ‘He’s going for my gun.’ ”

    Phillips put the suspect in a chokehold. A Facebook post from the TV station quotes Phillips: It was the “craziest thing” he’s ever done despite serving two tours in Iraq.

    Phillips said his training in the Marines and Army National Guard helped him subdue the man and pull him off the trooper.

    Jose Alvarez-Marrero; another kind of phony vet

    Reb and Thundrstixx send us a link to the story of Jose Alvarez-Marrero in Hialeah, Florida who was neutering dogs with no real training;

    Alvarez-Marrero, 58, faces three counts of practicing veterinary medicine without a license and animal cruelty with an intent to injure or kill and was booked into Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center.

    Hialeah police learned of the illegal makeshift veterinary practice inside the couple’s apartment on East 50th Street after Omarnestor Delrio took his 12-year-old American bulldog, Royalty, to Alvarez-Marrero and Gonzalez to be neutered on April 23.

    He had brought his pets to Alvarez-Marrero before.

    After several procedures, Royalty was in such bad shape that Delrio took him to a Knowles Animal Clinic in Miami. There, a vet told him the neutering procedure on the dog “was beyond medical malpractice.” It was, the police report said, “pure animal cruelty.”

    Royalty died on April 30.

  • Gun-fag Dan Helmer compares Trump with bin Laden

    Gun-fag Dan Helmer compares Trump with bin Laden

    A few weeks ago we discussed Dan Helmer, Virginia Congressional Democrat candidate, when he bought an AR-style rifle at a gun show.

    He says, “Last week, I went to a gun show to find out how easy it is to buy an assault rifle. What I found was terrifying – it took less time to buy a weapon of war than a cup of coffee.”

    This week he’s saying that President Trump is a threat to our national security, as bad as bin Laden;

    Of course, Gun-fag doesn’t clarify what he means by his charge that Trump is a threat to our Democracy – he’s just playing to the media, vacuous little prick that he is. His campaign manager, quoted by USA Today, doesn’t clarify his meaning at all;

    In response, Helmer campaign manager Bonnie Krenz said, “What is abhorrent is the way this president has failed to uphold his oath of office.” Krenze said the campaign stands by the ad and disputed the notion that there was anything about that warrants condemnation.

    […]

    “The ad shows that Helmer will have the courage to say what’s right, rather than what’s easy,” Krenz said. “He is the strongest candidate on the issues that matter most to the district, including healthcare and gun safety. And he’s ready to uphold his oath to defend the Constitution by serving as a check on President Trump.”

    No, what the ad shows is that Helmer is an empty suit. Comparing the president to a terrorist that masterminded the deaths of more than 3,000 Americans is just ignorant posturing. Boob bait for the Bubbas. Bill Clinton was a Rhodes scholar, too – that makes me wonder what they’re teaching.

    By the way, the term “gun-fag” is my label for veterans who want to trash the Second Amendment, ignoring their oath to protect and defend the Constitution. Helmer is their king. After my last post about him, he blocked me from commenting on his Facebook page.

    Guest Post; Confirmed Valor Thief Randy Greg Voepel in Hiding as CA State Assembly 71st District Primary Election Looms – June 5th

    Photo Caption: Voepel sits at his desk (perhaps updating his resume) wearing the Small Craft Insignia (that he is not authorized to wear) and an upside down Combat Action Ribbon.

    By: MCPO (SW) Terence B. Hoey, USN (Ret.)

    June 1, 2018 New York City

    As the primary for the CA State Assembly 71st District approaches Voepel has not been seen or heard of in public since we broke the news, on March 29, 2018 (Vietnam Veterans Day) here at TAH and on LinkedIn, that he, the last Vietnam Veteran serving in the California Assembly, is a confirmed Valor Thief. He has conducted no public appearances or town halls, baby holding, handshaking, TV and radio gigs or caucus meetings. But, he is proud of his service.

    Let’s review what we have learned about Voepel through FOIA requests, official service records, testimonials, his extensive digital footprint, video evidence and his own words:

    Voepel was a very junior sailor and radarman onboard the USS GURKE (DD-783) and USS Buchanan (DDG-14) during his Vietnam era service – TRUE.

    Voepel has been photographed and regularly wears a Combat Action Ribbon upside down – TRUE.

    Voepel regularly wears the Small Craft Insignia that he is NOT authorized to wear – TRUE.

    Voepel and his Chief of Staff Mason Herron distributed to the media an altered DD-214N as proof positive of his combat experience – TRUE.

    Voepel is a confirmed Valor Thief – TRUE.

    Served with Korean Tiger “Battalion” – FALSE.

    Purple Heart Recipient – FALSE.

    Combat wounded – FALSE.

    Heavy Combat – FALSE.

    Multiple combat tours – FALSE.

    Two combat tours – FALSE.

    Served in combat IN Vietnam – FALSE.

    Assigned to Task Force 117 – FALSE.

    Newly Released … 17 kills – FALSE. Note: Number of kills is eerily similar to the Task Force number (we see this a lot).

    Served onboard PBR – FALSE.

    Bow gunner onboard PBR – FALSE.

    Inserted SEALs from PBR in Mekong Delta – FALSE.

    While onboard USS GURKE (DD-783) supported inserting SEALs in Mekong Delta – FALSE.

    While onboard USS GURKE (DD-783) manned a 50 caliber, under supervision for offensive and defensive purposes – FALSE.

    Served in the US Navy Infantry – FALSE.

    Has experienced in combat body fluids of all sorts, blood soaked uniform and taste of blood in the back of his throat – FALSE.

    Knows what real combat is like – FALSE.

    Still has his “monsoon” (boonie) hat from Vietnam – FALSE.

    Has (and self-diagnosed) PTSD from his multiple combat tours in Vietnam – FALSE.

    The above is only a partial list as we have not released all evidence collected to date.
    As the California and San Diego GOPs, the CA State Assembly and paid political pundits largely ignore Voepel, take no action and wait this out … so does the MSM. The original reporting of Voepel’s Stolen Valor activities by the MSM was weak, technically wrong, full of errors, relied on old documents and incorrect information, clearly biased and ignored the very evidence that has been in the public domain for years. The evidence was easy to obtain, yet the media failed to do the hard work, research and develop the evidence. One MSM outlet referred to a real witness as an “alleged” witness. The “alleged” witness was one who provided real damning video evidence. One MSM outlet said we called the DD-214N a “phony”, we called it “altered.” Another said we called the DD-214N a “forgery”, we called it “altered.” One outlet edited their tape of the April 16th press conference at the USS Midway Museum to make it appear that I said, “pure fantasy” with respect to Voepel’s Combat Action Ribbon claim. I was clearly referring to a separate wild claim and never addressed Voepel’s Combat Action Ribbon claim at that press conference. A reporter from the same MSM outlet suggested that I drop my pursuit of Voepel and that I should “watch my back”.

    Fortunately there are some real journalists in the San Diego area and they are hot on the bread crumb trail that we have laid with respect to Voepel. We have more testimonials. People are stepping forward from Santee City Hall to Voepel’s own VFW and all the way to the California State House and back again to San Diego. It seems many had heard the wild and comedic claims of Voepel’s military derring-do. In addition, I suspect authorities with jurisdiction are either following the Voepel story very closely or may already be investigating, but I am not privy to that information.

    Now back to the “altered” DD-214N, Combat Action and Purple Heart claims … these issues are NOT just going away with time and neither will I. Voepel has to face the truth … he will have to either confess and resign, be removed by the CA State Assembly for violations of CA AB 153 (California’s Stolen Valor Act of 2017 which he supported and voted for) and or be prosecuted by federal authorities for violations of the US Stolen Valor Act of 2013 and 18 USC 489 before this case is closed. PERIOD.

    As a 4 time voting member of the US Navy E8/9 Selection Board, I have reviewed thousands of US Navy Service Records, tens of thousands of associated documents (including various versions of DD-214 and DD-214N) and I know a BRAVO SIERRA service history when I see, touch, hear and smell it. The particular stench emanating from Voepel and his view of his service record is simply rancid.

    So, tune in and watch the results on June 5th in CA State Assembly 71st District.

  • Sunday morning feel good stories

    Sunday morning feel good stories

    From Memphis, Tennessee;

    New information about the two men shot and killed in East Memphis.

    Police said the duo broke into a house on Myrna Street, and the homeowner shot them.

    It happened Friday night.

    “It’s a good neighborhood,” said Charles Harris, who was rattled by the blue lights he saw. “They kept me awake pretty much until midnight or a little longer than midnight.”

    Next door to Harris is where police said a burglary turned into a shooting that left two people dead.

    We spoke to the man who lives in that house.

    He was too traumatized to do an interview, but told WREG he came home from the barber shop around 7 p.m. He saw his door pried open and heard his dog barking like crazy.

    He says he then saw two men snooping through his house.

    The men reportedly aimed a gun at him. He grabbed his weapon and opened fire.

    Police said the attempted burglars were shot and died at the scene.

    The homeowner was taken into custody but later released.

    In Salisbury, North Carolina;

    The man shot by a Salisbury police officer after he stabbed a business owner following an alleged bank robbery and chase Thursday has died.

    Jerick Raheem Gray, 42, of High Point, died Thursday evening at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center, according to the Salisbury Police Department. Gray was identified as the driver of a vehicle officers pursued after a robbery at First National Bank on Innes Street in Salisbury on Thursday.

    Wes Anderson, the co-owner of Anderson R/C hobby shop in Thomasville, remained hospitalized Friday recovering from stab wounds.

  • Nathan Larson lowers bar for politics

    Nathan Larson lowers bar for politics

    Virginia Libertarian congressional candidate, Nathan Larson, operates on the fringe of political issues, and he hopes that the rest of Virginia voters do, too. According to the Washington Post;

    Nathan Larson lives with his parents, and spends most of his waking hours on the Internet in between intermittent work as an accountant. And it’s mostly there that he’s developed some views that put him on the extreme fringes of society.

    He believes in instituting a patriarchal system, with women under the authority of men; he supports abolishing age restrictions for marriage and laws against marital rape; he believes that white supremacy is a “system that works,” that Hitler was a “good thing for Germany,” and that incest should be legalized, at least in the context of marriage. And at one point in a conversation with The Post, he seemed to express admiration for the system run by the Taliban in Afghanistan, noting that the country’s birthrate fell as a consequence of increased opportunities for women after the United States’ more than decade-long intervention.

    According to the Post, Larson threatened in a letter to the Secret Service to kill either President Bush or President Obama. He served 16 months for that. When his wife committed suicide, he was denied custody of his daughter because of his sexual proclivities – thanks to ex-governor Carpetbagger McAuliffe, Larson, as a felon, can vote and run for office. Larson operated at least two websites for pedophiles – both are defunct.

    Suiped or Suicidal Pedophiles, was a site and self-described organization created to lobby for pedophiles and other convicted or potential sex offenders to be able to kill themselves at clinics legally, according to cached images.

    According to a cached image, Incelocalypse was created to “serve as both headquarters and casual hangout for the hardest core of the hardcore incels,” the small but vocal community of “involuntary celibates” online who rage against feminism and a system of female empowerment that has deprived them of sexual gratification, an Internet subculture that has begun to draw some attention by mainstream media outlets.

  • Fake cops in Flint, Michigan

    Fake cops in Flint, Michigan

    According to MLive, about ten people calling themselves the Genesee County Fire and EMS Media-Genesee County Task Force Blight Agency have been pretending to be law enforcement officers for about three years in Flint, Michigan – pretend-arresting and detaining people with their pretend uniforms and pretend police car.

    Leyton authorized charges against three people on Wednesday, May 30, that include three counts of unlawful imprisonment and one count of impersonating a peace officer to commit a crime.

    Emily Nicole Burrison, 27, of Burton, and Jeffrey Lee Jones, 29, of Flint, were arraigned on the charges Thursday, May 31, before Genesee District Judge David Goggins.

    A third Flint man was charged in connection with the case and he was taken into custody while working at Cedar Point in Ohio. Investigators said he is being held at the Erie County Jail while awaiting extradition to Genesee County for arraignment on the charges.

    Court records indicate there are five other co-defendants in the case, however, charges have not yet been filed against them.

    Police say that there were times that the pretend cops arrived on the crime scenes ahead of legitimate first responders.

    [Kevin Shanlian, chief of the Genesee County Parks ranger division] said there was a core group of about 10 people who were impersonating police since October 2015.

    “I believe there’s probably hundreds of victims who were actually detained and didn’t have good experiences with these folks,” Shanlian said.

    It looks like they also consumed the donut rations of every cop in area.
