He may have been a diver, but not a SEAL in the subs. The only SEAL I knew on subs was David Colson (not sure on spelling his last name), 1st Class nuk electrician. He earned a Silver Star in Nam as a SEAL. On Seahorse SSN 669 David was not a Navy SEAL He was a nuk. Of course this was in 1976-1980. Who knows how the boats work today.
