She also appears to be wearing Air Force flight nurse wings. All the Army nurses I know who were on flying status (and they were all assigned to the burn unit at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio’s flyaway team) wore Army Aviation Wings.
Frankly, if I was going to fake being a flight nurse, I would have faked being assigned to the Original Dustoff, 57th Medical Detachment (Air Ambulance) or Eagle Dustoff, the helicopter ambulance platoon in the 236th Medical battalion, 101st Airborne Division. But that’s me . . .
