  1. Pennsylvania is a ‘swing’ state. Trump has pulled ahead now by 25,000++ votes. I won’t say it’s cast in stone, but he now has a relatively clear majority. All the counties/precincts have reported in that state. So unless something comes up (not 10,000 ballots in the trunk of someone’s car), he’s got that swing state.

That surprised me, as did New Hampshire going over to Clinton. But this election is full of surprises.

The only state not reporting yet is Alaska, 3EVs, but they don’t close until after midnight our time.

    1. NH hasn’t gone over to Clinton…yet.

Sununu won, Ayotte will probably win, and Trump is still ahead.

Only dark spot is Che-Pelosi (aka Shea-Porter) beat Guinta in 1CD. No matter. Guy was a tool anyway.

  2. Additional news:

Republicans have won the US House of Representatives, 244 GOP to 166 Democrats

Senate race has not been declared yet, but it’s 48 GOP to 47 Dem. 51 are needed for a majority.

    1. That’s one beej I’d emphatically refuse, regardless of criteria. It figures that CUNTzman would be the one to try it, though.

      1. I don’t think he could have gone through with it anyway, unless ol’ Maddie was going to felate his mangina, because I seriously question his manhood.

  3. Is it just me, but does this feel like this generations’ “Dewey Defeats Truman?” moment?

A moment in time where the pundits got it so wrong? Where the mass media tried to tell people it was over before it even started?

I am not a Trump fan and to me this election was not about the lesser of two evils, but rather which person you despised the least.

Still, I am shocked at the way this is going.

    Un-friggin’-believable.

    1. Funny you mention that. I remember my dad saying that how strange it was that no one would said that they voted for Harry…but many did.

    2. gc-I think the lib/media machine’s maneuver on “Hillary has got this” was in hopes of discouraging Trump voters. When in reality the Hillary voters fell for it & didn’t bother voting.

In any case, yeah, that’s one of the things I thought. Harry in the photo with the big print newspaper.

      1. I think Johnson and Stein took a lot of votes that might have gone over to Clinton in some states. Or maybe it was just as well that they did…. but what do I know?

        1. From what I gather, they pulled voters pretty evenly from both sides. In any case, not really in sufficient numbers to make a difference, especially if Clinton could have motivated her own power base to actually go to the polls.

    3. I’ll disagree with EODguy – all the modeling and polls did show Clinton winning handily, there wasn’t some sort of push in the hopes of swaying people.

But the polling, quite clearly, was considerably off. In computer models, the saying goes, ‘garbage in, garbage out’ – and every mathematical model of the Electoral College had, in effect, garbage in.

Where it’s possible the media had an effect is that by generally expressing such shock and disbelief that an imbecile like Trump could possibly even contend for President they alienated people into answering polls dishonestly out of fear of judgement. Or, simply, out of a desire to stick it to people for telling them how to think. There are a lot of interesting questions about the psychology behind the polls, but we’ve never had polling data so off before.

Had the polling been accurate, the models and thus the predictions would’ve been so as well.

    4. Yes, it kind of does, gitarcarver. It’s strange, because when I go to sleep tonight, the sun will have set on a bad dream. And when I wake up in the morning, everything will be like it used to be, and maybe people will be nice to each other again.

  4. Mad dog Mattis for SECDEF; bring GEN Hamm back on AD make him Chairman JCS; Flynn for SECSTATE

    Dr Ben Carson for HHS.

Promote RADM Brakke or RADM Morneau to 4-Star as CNO.

Offer SC slot to Trey Gordy.

    Offer FBI to Sheriff Clarke.

      1. Fuck yes on Bolton… he’d put the fear of GOD in anyone he was negotiating with.

        Mattis for SECDEF – ditto

Gowdy for SCOTUS or Attorney General

      2. “Bolton for SECSTATE”

        FUCK YEAH!!!

IMHO Allen West would also be a good pick for SECDEF.

    1. Mattis would be great for SECDEF, but I want Bobby Jindal for HHS. Health Care policy is one of his big specialties and he can come up with a way out of the Obamacare mess.

      Carson for Surgeon General.

    1. Yeah, I saw on some LSN (Lame Stream News) they suggested this was the blue collar/redneck repudiation of all things Obama. The fact he was/is a worthless sack had nothing to do with it. Yeah, it’s always the race card. Eventually, it gets whipped out to ‘prove’ one’s point.

    2. Trump carried several states that voted for Obama twice in a row. Hard to claim those are racist states, you would think.

  5. Okay, Pennsylvania is now in Trump’s pocket, and that leaves 40 EV not yet finished with the counting.

This is how it stands right now:
    Trump 264
    Clinton 215

If he gets the remaining 40 electoral votes confirmed, he’ll win with 304. WI 96% and MI 91% reported, AK just started now at 23% reported, AZ at 80% reported.

    1. It’s 28% reported so far in Alaska.

Senate is now 51 GOP to 47 Democrats
      Kelly Ayotte(R) leads in NH

House of Reps: 234 GOP to 178 Democrats

Republicans now have a majority in both houses of Congress.

Electoral votes: Trump 276 (last update)
      Clinton 218
MN is 92% reported at this time.
Arizona and Alaska are still out.

Note that there is not a wide difference in numbers in the popular vote so far.

      Trump: 56,797,101
      Clinton: 55,741,659

No landslide, but the final count is not complete in some states. Texas is only 66% reported but the votes counted are in Trump’s favor.

    2. Are we seeing a trend with AZ? I mean, aren’t they always late reporting in? Glad the way they lean, but doggone, they’re a slow bunch of buggers.

      1. Apparently, they have a process where the sheriff’s deputies collect the ballots and take them in sealed bags to a central accounting facility. They wear guns and everything while they’re doing this.

I’ll be interested in the actual total in the popular vote. At least this time, there were no strange people trying to intimidate anyone outside or inside polling places.

  6. I was watching the county by county for Pennsylvania and when I saw the “T” being filled in, I began to believe. I’m hearing now that Hil-Liar-y isn’t going to concede…lack of honor and integrity to the end. Bitch wouldn’t even address her own fucking supporters; sent her lackey Podesta to speak for her.

    1. No, the anchors at WGN reported just now that she has conceded to Trump. But she’s not going to make an appearance to her fans until tomorrow.

He should be appearing shortly, however.

  7. I just woke up to get ready for work or…am I dreaming?

Is it possible that he just might win?

Please Jesus, let it be so!

Hillary will have a fucking stroke right on the stage!

If Donald wins, a lot of scummy lib journalists will be eating major crow.

    1. He has won the electoral vote 276 to Clinton’s 218.

The vote count is not completed yet, but he has the majority. See my post above.

    1. Sure would like to think that “we”, have the house, senate, and presidency, but all I am relatively sure of is that the dems don’t have them.

    2. Oh, for Pete’s sake! I posted the results above, ifcs, and they’re available online. A GOP majority in both Houses. Snap out of it.

      1. GOP majority, yes, not a question about that. My concern is with the GOP mob that wouldn’t support our coming president as a candidate. Will they support him solidly as if he was their pick? The party is splintered, and that bothers me and was the point of my post.

      2. Well, that is a reasonable question and it remains to be seen. I have some questions about it myself, but I do know that Trump is a negotiator. This belongs in the wait-and-see category. I’ll just give him the benefit of the doubt.
More important is that the Republican majority will (I hope) ensure better choices for the Supreme Court.

  8. Well shit it won’t or did not let me in to blog

But on a good note THE LIBs ARE OUT PUT HILLARY IN JAIL

  9. I’d give my savings to be a fly on the wall in Hillary’s hotel room when they called it for Trump.

    1. Exactly my reaction to Podesta coming out to lie to their supporters one last time, since Hillary was likely far too enraged, ashamed and embarrassed to come herself.

  10. My dear long departed parents must be rolling over in their graves tonight. Both were dem’s and I’m sure they voted on this one, as well as many in the recent past. They were enthralled with the old dem party though, back when it was genuinely “The loyal opposition”.

        1. I still have a Class A CDL, I’ll gladly haul their shit for them as long as they promise to STAY THERE!!

      1. Convoy them to Venezuela. They’re going to have a very high demand for intellectuals real soon. But I’m no grad student.

  11. It’s been reported that Canada’s immigration website has crashed from bawling libtard moonbats seeking to go there. I’m sure that most Canadians DO NOT want an invasion of candyassed moonbats, I wonder if they now want a wall to keep them out?

    PRESIDENT-ELECT DONALD TRUMP!!!

I LOVE the sound of libtard moonbats having meltdowns, I bet the paint peeled off the walls of Hitlery’s hotel room when the results were known!

    1. Dang it. Hit the report button by accident. Sorry.

What I was going to say was this:

Al can leave the US once he pays his fucking taxes.

  12. This has definitely been one of those years. First the Cubs win! And then Trump Wins! Hell hath frozen over at least twice in the past month. So much for all that “global warming” tripe.

    1. Ginsburg said she was gonna move to New Zealand if Trump won, I wonder if she’ll live up to her promise? I bet the Kiwis would not want her.

      1. I’ll help her pack. I sometimes think that Judge Judy would be a better choice for SCOTUS than some of the people who’ve served there and that includes Ginsberg.

  13. That was some pretty good Bourbon.
No hangover and it appears that I have awoken in a free country once again. Nice.

  14. This morning, at first light, I raise Old Glory for the first time in eight years. God bless America.

    1. Brand new Annin 5 x 8 going up this AM followed by a one gun salute with a short speech and a bit of the hair.

  15. We dodged a bullet. I just hope we didn’t step into the path of another. I sincerely hope to be proved wrong, and that Trump turns out to be a better President than I expect him to be.

    1. Like you, MrBill, I’m old enough to remember the 1980 elections.

I remember one of the candidates there being criticized as being an “unpredictable cowboy”, a “lightweight”, and “an unqualified actor”. He turned out OK.

No, I’m not saying Trump will be another Reagan. Reagan had some political experience and a demonstrated track record of leadership in such roles; Trump does not.

But on 5 November 1980, we had no idea how Reagan would turn out, either. And the predictions of “he’ll be a disaster” then turned out to be incorrect. (smile)

I suspect the same will be true this time around, though I don’t frankly expect the ultimate result to be as good as 36 years ago.

      1. It’s never as good the second time. Of course, for many younger people, this will be their first time.

        1. Agreed. My point was we have no idea at present how Trump will turn out – just like we had no idea on 5 Nov 1980 how a Reagan Administration would end.

I will say this: although it’s theoretically possible I could be wrong, I’ll go out on a limb and say that I don’t think it’s at all possible that Trump could turn out worse than Clintoon would have.

          1. Yeah, I am in the dark about Trump, as most of us are. What we did yesterday is STOP CLINTON and that’s worth relishing for a few days, at least. We knew what she would do if she got the presidency. oBaMa announced it days ago, for the uncertain. (i.e., Continue his progressive agenda.) Trump? We will all learn together.

      2. 1980 was the first presidential election I voted in. I couldn’t stand Carter, but I wasn’t sold on Reagan either, so I voted third party (former Republican congressman John Anderson). By 1984 I WAS sold on Reagan and voted for him, and I’ve voted for the Republican nominee in every presidential election since then until this year, when I went third-party for another former Republican.

In addition to having experience as governor of California, Reagan had another attribute that Trump appears to lack: Reagan was a genuinely decent human being. Not to say that it’s impossible for a bad man to govern well, but I’d rather be governed by a President I can trust.

I hope that history does repeat itself, that the next four years will be as yugely fantastic as Trump promises they will be, and that in 2020 I’ll be supporting the re-election of President Trump, bigly.

  16. Well I can honestly say I’ve never been happier to be wrong in my life…When I saw the slim margins last night in the blue wall I began to think it was going to go our way….and damn when PA flipped it was over.

    1. You weren’t alone–but you may be the only who admits it. I have THE LIST of those who guaranteed a Clinton victory, who cited polls, who were so cocksure that Clinton was a walkover.

    2. I was never more surprised than when I saw Pennsylvania shift over to Trump last night.
This is the first time I’ve had to ‘watch’ an election without a TV and it was a hoot. It was like reporting football scores with binocs for viewing the game.

  17. Trump’s words as he accepted his win proved that my vote for him was correct. He showed humility, class, and exactly the right tone. Well done, Mr. Trump.

      1. That remains to be seen. I’ve often voiced my complete lack of trust in this guy. The only thing I’m counting on at this point is that he’ll give us that reach-around with the assrape. God knows Das Hildabeast would’ve offered no such courtesy.

I’ll be quite happy if he proves me wrong.

    1. Notice that he used “we” all the time, not “I” over and over like Barry?

I’d love to be a fly on the wall at the Clintons. Wonder how much stuff she has thrown?

    2. Apparently, he learns the game rather quickly. Contrast him at the beginning versus the end. The “human dynamo” sprint to the finish was significant.

This suggests a remarkably agile mind for a man of 70, and the stamina of a much younger man. Since the Office of President tends to challenge the former and tax greatly the latter, this suggests he may be very effective in the role.

Now, we really do not know how he will -actually- govern, left/right/center/weird, as he has zero actual track record.

But come what may, the alternate is effectively finished for executive office. I predict a Pardon (possibly rather soon), otherwise the long festering scandal-swamp may overflow and make life difficult for current and next president.

Those “in the know”, holding the dirt, now have much, much less reason to fear speaking up. And some will be seeking payback.

Before anyone cackles with glee over a prosecution-shitstorm, and a dark gray cell to fill, consider that such a litigious process might well be the final straw for roughly 48% of the country to stop going along with this whole “peaceful transition” thing that is actually rather fragile, and quite rare globally.

There is a reason for magnanimity in victory. Sun Tzu advised “Never press a beaten foe too closely”. Otherwise, they never really quit, and the bill becomes very, very costly.

But do savor the moment, folks. It was hard fought, and your foes are weeping bitter tears today.

      1. I’m thinking back to that thing about the Clinton Foundation supposedly paying large sums to an Albanian arms dealer a few weeks ago. Hopefully just tinfoil-hattery, but you never know with that vicious cunt.

  18. We were told it was over some months ago. The Bitch had a huge lead. Lynch/Comey buried the possibility of indictment, not once but twice. Huma Mahmood Abedin had already been told she had first dibs on the Lincoln Bedroom. The appointments and re-appointments list was all but complete. The Secret Service was set to go with its newly formed Wonder Woman Squad. Ball tickets were stacked and awaiting distribution. Then, something unexpected happened. She who would be empress was rejected by THE PEOPLE.

    1. Trump’s victory comments spotlighted the support he said he received from some “200 generals and admirals.” Yeah, he just might straighten some people out and use that Executive Order power to nullify many of oBaMa’s. I am so freakin’ surprised and I want to congratulate each one of you who dedicated your vote to stop Clinton.

      1. You can be sure that obamao will make it his urgent top priority to empty out and close Guantanamo before 20 Jan 17. He will absolutely ignore any and all conflicting advice and recommendations from DOD/CIA/DIA/ODNI to get it done. This has been his personal obsession since 2009, and you can bet obamao will clear and close GITMO before he leaves office on 20 Jan…

        1. He may not have enough time left to be successful in that regard. Just because he orders it doesn’t mean it will be accomplished. What with scheduled holiday leave, personnel training issues, etc, it might just take 6 months or so to begin to implement his orders.

    2. Interesting choice of quotes to begin your comment there, Jonn. I’m rather surprised no one commented on it, given that the context is a bit different this time around.

      Still rather apropos, though.

  19. And CNN, MSNBC, CBS, NBC, ABC are in panic mode. I just might have to watch some minutes of each today, just to enjoy their hand wringing, teeth-gnashing, disbelieving, angst.

        1. Fox this morning reported that a surprisingly large percentage of Hispanics voted for Trump (something like 29%). That’s a lot better than I expected he would do.

    1. As much as I dislike the guy, I hope he didn’t do anything drastic after hearing the result of the election last night.

      1. No, I’m sure he just cried and went to some commie blog to commiserate with his disappointed fellow travelers. I’m sure they will be disruptive and stage asine protests of some sort. And that’s fine, as long as they first obtain the requisite permits.

        1. The question is, will Lars return to this forum today and attempt to berate us with more of his pompous, condescending lectures?

Or will he finally get a clue and stay away and sulk in blessed silence?

          1. He will be back to tell us how the REPUBLICAN PRESIDENT, the REPUBLICAN-MAJORITY HOUSE, and THE REPUBLICAN-MAJORITY SENATE ought to make nice with his fellow commies. It may take a while. He’s busy right now trying to find synonyms for Fascist and mumbling, “How could this have happened” over and over again.

          2. I’m still waiting to figure out how our “age difference” means he’ll outlive me, since I’m still a couple years south of 35. Then again, the boy’s never been particularly rational, has he? Kinda like his track record for honesty.

I also find it funny that he accused me of being “reactionary” when he casts his lot with the “we must do something” crowd. But again, that’s Lars for ya.

            1. I’m a few years North of 35 and I’m sure I’ll outlive him. IMHO he’ll either piss the wrong person off in the wrong way and whoopsie, no more Poodledick! That or he’ll go through life perpetually pissed off to the point where he gives himself an aneurysm before age 45.

  20. Madame Cankles, exit stage left, and don’t let the door hit your fat ass on the way out…

    1. Frankly, I hope a door does hit her in the butt one day soon. A door made out of steel bars.

You or I would be in jail by now. Multiple times over.

      1. I really don’t think that is going to happen at this point-as much as she deserves it. Trump will probably want to get past all of that, and it is likely the best move (why let the media try and portray her as the victim of a vindictive winner). We will just have to take solace in the fact that her dupes, I mean co-conspirators, I mean “donors” aren’t going to get much of a return on their investment.

          1. I’d actually prefer Mike Lee, but Ted would be great as well-he still has a great future in the Senate IMHO (not that Lee doesn’t, but he might have less of a confirmation fight than Ted).

Gowdy for AG, Mattis for SECDEF, Allen West for Army or VA and Bobby Jindal at HHS.

Whee-this is fun dreaming up a wish list!

          2. Can any of you grad students help me calculate George Soros’s Return on Investment in this election? I keep trying, but my damn calculator just flashes 888888888888888

Commissar, you’re real smart. Help me out, Bro.

        1. Yeah, tell that to the survivors of the four dead at Benghazi. Or the surviving family of any intel sources lost because they were exposed by the highly classified information improperly stored on that “private” email server of hers. Based on what’s been made public so far, apparently that latter total is at least one.

That corrupt individual IMO has friendly blood on her hands. She should pay for that.

          1. Of course all of that is true-I don’t say she doesn’t deserve it, only that it is unlikely to happen.

          2. Until or unless she is actually indicted, I’m in a wait-and-see state on all of that.

If anything, I’d expect her to have a debilitating stroke before she even has to face a hearing. However, Comey needs to be replaced yesterday as does Janet Yellen at the FRB.

In Yellen’s case, she should be persuaded to resign, because she’s been holding off raising the prime rate until the elections were over. Every time she hinted at it, she reneged. I don’t like it when someone like her plays such games.

              1. Ten years? Oh, that’s too bad. Unless someone finds a way to cut the chains that Clinton is holding on him, he’s ineffective.

    1. Here’s more, some pics of Das Hildebeast’s gathering in NYC:

      http://www.dailymail.co.uk/wires/afp/article-3919142/Shock-despair-silence-Clinton-HQ.html

Canada’s Immigration Website CRASHED, possibly due to panicking libtards:

      http://heatst.com/politics/canadas-immigration-site-crashes-as-liberals-panic/

Some are calling for California to secede:

      http://metro.co.uk/2016/11/09/calexit-california-want-to-leave-the-us-after-donald-trumps-election-win-6245665/

      *WHOOOOOT!*

      1. I was fully expecting for someone in the back of the Clinton HQ to pass out the “almond” flavored Kool Aid for a toast when the election was called for Trump.

      2. The weeping and wailing and gnashing of teeth at the NYC gathering!

And I find especially rich this quote:
“‘We are disgusted, embarrassed, we are sorry on behalf of our country that the white male uneducated vote has spoken today,’ railed Celia Rowlson-Hall, a 32-year-old filmmaker.

‘We, as the other half of the country that believes in love, unity, and fairness – we have to gather together even stronger to fight against this man who only represents hate and bigotry and xenophobia.’ ”

Just feel the love, unity and fairness in that, can’tcha?

        1. Oh and this mixed-race male has a bachelors and two masters degrees and voted for Trump. Suck it.

    2. Some dipshits tried to block the I-5 freeway in La Jolla last night. One of them got run over.

      1. But not seriously injured, I understand. Of course, one needs a brain inside the cranium for it to be injured when it hits the concrete…

  21. Guess all the personnel offices are slammed processing the resignation papers from the GS’ers who said they would quit.

  22. The most pressing questions of the day:

Will the Clintons finally just go away? Are they even capable of keeping their mouths shut? Here’s hoping that they recede into oblivion. Take their ill gotten gains and move to a secluded island somewhere.

    1. I doubt that, both of the Clintons are far too addicted to being the center of everyone’s attention. She no longer has the grip on power she once did, thus I’m sure that donations to their “Foundation” are going to dry up!

      1. Must agree with you completely. Am hoping that they are forced to go into seclusion by some of their donors politely requesting a return of their now useless investments in the Clinton “charity.”

        1. Absolutely! She now has NO WAY of returning any favors whatsoever, her election defeat has sealed her political career SHUT!!

          1. Hey. I have a question. Will the Pillsbury Dough Boy, Karl Rove, ever be right about anything? And I want to thank The Bush Family for voting for neither Trump nor Clinton. Thanks, gang. Way to step up.

            1. Never liked that Rove guy. He proved himself to be beyond useless last night when he itemized a bunch of negative stuff about Trump. I frankly had no need to know that Trump failed to change his underwear back on September 17, 1954.

      1. He can pardon only the charges against her currently and the crimes she has been convicted of. He cannot pardon her of anything she has not yet been charged with.

          1. Which is what I was thinking of, MrBill. I remember that very well- and how badly that turned out.

        1. The Presidential Pardon is essentially unlimited, with the exception only as specified in the Constitution (Except in cases of impeachment). There are a number of Supreme Court cases that have reaffirmed that essentially unlimited character.

One other thing that SCOTUS ruled: Accepting a pardon is an admission of guilt. (Which explains, perhaps, a certain lack of self-pardons or henchman pardons.)

Think of how truly hideous this Pardon power would be in the hands of someone with no scruples. One might pardon a henchman for assassinating a rival, or mere annoyance, pre-act.

What did Palpatine shout at Windu as he was frying him? “UN! LIMITED! POWER!”

          1. We just covered this recently. The power to pardon extends to those bad acts or crimes that were committed or may have been committed by a person certain. There is no prospective pardon. Thus, a continuing criminal enterprise of the sort contemplated by RICO could spell curtains for the Clintons and their money skimming/laundering operation. She couldn’t get out in time before oBaMa takes his last shit in the White House.

      1. Ever heard of California’s Proposition 60? It was on the ballot yesterday and provided that males in porn movies wear condoms. Talk about an important, critical issue! Over 8 million votes were cast on this matter. The People have spoken. Bareback it is. Just say no to penile raincoats. This is not a joke.

      2. You’re absolutely right. Canada does not allow anyone that has a felony conviction and that includes DUI which is a felony there, a number of those celebs are gonna be SOL!!!

  23. I have a staunch libertarian leaning, therefore, I supported neither candidate. I do like the fact that President-Elect Trump beat the media establishment as I can’t stand the ceaseless talking heads who thought they knew how America was going to vote. Also, that he beat the democratic party establishment who thought they had this election in the bag. And finally that he beat the republican establishment who are so spineless, many of the elected republicans couldn’t even support the candidate nominated by their party.
I also have a huge amount of disdain for celebrities, who think they know it all and make statements that they will leave this great country if the candidate they support doesn’t win.
    Have those loudmouths left yet?

  24. Is does this mean manning is not getting his chop job ???
And are the standerds to be infantry going up again ???
And are the freaking mentality I’ll folks claiming to be confused about there sex

  27. Dead Lives Matter

These results are wrong; not enough Dead votes were allowed to be counted. There are many people from the cemetery whose proxies were not allowed to cast their vote. Polls show that an overwhelming Dead People vote democrat and in many States they were not allowed to vote.

The results of this election are flawed because of the under counted Dead votes. Shillary backers stand up and fight for the rights of the Dead Vote. Riot and cause mayhem; maybe even make some more Dead Voters.

Dead Lives Matter //sarc (in case you needed it)

  28. One more question does this mean if you disagree with Obummer now they will no longer send the IRS
    After you ???

    1. Yeah, they have to begin winding down now–and destroying the trail. The anonymous letters written by insiders who did the dirty rather than lose their jobs are just beginning to flow to President-elect Trump’s office. He will have a mountain of them by January.
