So we got this in email today, from a reliable source, about another security company CEO who thinks that he’s above having actual military service commensurate with his claims. This one is Skip Moschetti, the CEO of Advanced Tactical Investigations Inc.
He claims all kinds of stuff, like the time he narrowly saved President George HW Bush from a nearly-successful assassination attempt, and how he had to brief George W Bush personally daily on terrorism. He also claims that his name is frequently mentioned as a vice presidential candidate in the Democrat Party.
I don’t know if all that’s true, but I can make a guess based on what he claims is his military background;
Mr. Moschetti is a highly decorated veteran. He received the Congressional Medal of Honor, for heroism and courage in the face of the enemy, as well as this nations 2nd, highest honor, The Distinguished Service Cross, the nations 3rd highest decoration, (3) The Silver Star, and an array of medals, including eight Purple Hearts, for injuries received in combat.
I don’t know about the Silver Stars or the Purple Hearts, but it seems the Congressional Medal of Honor Society doesn’t have him listed, as if you’re surprised. And the Home of Heroes doesn’t have him listed for the Distinguished Service Cross.

As for his bonafides, most people I know who knew him though he was a fraud. He threw some really good house parties and had access to good drugs. He also had lots of teenage boys hanging around him and living in that house. He called them his ‘sons,’ but nobody was buying that.
Oh, and in March 2000, he had several plastic surgeries performed on his face in one go. That was quite unusual, even he admitted.

I knew him from the 90’s and have loosely kept up with him. I’ve known he was a fraud since the 90’s, i just chose to not confront him as i thought it harmless. I run in some of the same circles and hear it all. Where do i start. I know he is only 56 years old, he claims to be a Vietnam Vet – highly decorated no doubt. Skip claimed he was an MD which i checked on and found to be totally false, He admitted to me that he was a homo-sexual which makes sense with all the young boys. He also told me about some of the scars – camping accident, motor cycle accident, car accident etc… I believe he has leveraged his false Hero status to bilk and con people out of money. He also has claimed he has cancer and i know he has also used that to prey on sympathetic elderly people to con them out of their hard earned money. I do not believe he has any sickness other than his head. This guy is a bona-fide sociopathic liar and a criminal. He needs to be in bars. I have many more stories, too many to tell in this blog. I guess it was time to speak out. Surprised it didn’t happen sooner. Also surprised he’s not in jail. If anyone runs into this character, turn him in to the authorities. He’s armed and dangerous.

What Mr. Moschetti needs is help. He obviously needs psych help. He is a classic sociopath. Our country is filled full of mentally ill people that need attention. Does he have any parents or siblings? Maybe they can help him… maybe they are the problem? Either way this gentleman needs help. No sense beating him up. I’m sure he’s been beaten down enough by now. Show some compassion. What is the solution instead of the problem? Mr. Moschetti, get some help. You can be helped if you so choose. It will free you. God is good.

Well I have known him for many many years. He had a ECM school in La Jolla of which I attended. It was really good, great information. I don’t remember him saying those things in class, but we were in school. I last heard he was in San Jose Costa Rica working in CP or so I was told. Someone else said that he was in Europe. Everything you mentioned is correct. At the time he claimed to be Trauma Surgeon for Cider Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles.
His LAPD badge is fake… he claims to be a retired LAPD Reserves Chief.
As far as his company…. the name of the company has changed.. but there are a few info that has not.. there are also a few other of his former co-worker that I know that are real CIA or federal agents ( I can prove it using current legal documents and photos) and some of these people still vouch for him..

I have keep track of all the companies and the major people who owns and runs those companies.. All of those companies have one thing in common if you know what to look at.
I will not say more about GSI as I know enough about the company to not talk about it. Other than GSI is currently owned and run by a guy with a JD.. and has been consider an expert by the state and federal courts in serious criminal matters… with extensive ties to the US Department of State.

i’ve met skip. I’ve seen at least one purple heart, and his scars seem no way to be self inflicted. The scar from collar bone to collar bone for sure looks like a torture scar. He at the time in mid 00’s was yes addicted to meth living in Hollywood. When it comes to spy tech, and electronics,.. I would not doubt this guy was CIA trained. I think there is some truth to his stories, but I think he also lives in a bit of a fantasy land. Being old, and drugs will do that. Just SEEING a Purple Heart doesn’t mean it’s legit. Anyone can buy one from an Army-Navy store or online and make up a fake certificate to go along with it, they’re readily available.

rb325th, if I remember correctly, it’s also a violation of federal law to possess a Medal of Honor unless one is the recipient, next of kin, or a direct descendant of the recipient. And yes, wearing one in public is also illegal if you’re not the recipient. It’s also illegal to sell one or produce replicas of it, too.

Well, guess I’ll contribute. Started talking to Skip back around 03/04. I had actually met him through my Dad when I was a kid but hadn’t heard from him for many years till around the time I coincidentally turned 18. He was, without a doubt, the most interesting person I’ve ever met. Sometimes scary, often times hilarious, but always undeniably intriguing. Even now, a decade later, I still wonder what shenanigans the old bastard is up to. My dad is what some might call a car salesman’s dream, so it was easy for Skip to pull a few over on him. I think I could see the impossibility of a lot of skip’s stories a little more clearly but played along anyway because I wanted to believe that Skip was a renegade who had the world nailed down and that he had chosen me because I was special in some way. I met him a couple times up at his place in hollywierd. He usually had a mess of guns, dildos, medals, tranny porn dvds, various home made surveillance gear and other random shit sporadically placed around his place. There was a very large safe, but I never learned the contents. All very interesting to an 18 year old, sheltered me. He also lived with a young night club owner named Pavlos iirc. Anyway, back then, I was young, energetic, eager to explore, and wanted to go out the couple times I went up. But Skip usually wanted to stay in. One night he attempted to get me to go to sleep (as in lie on a bed) with him. I’m not entirely sure what his intentions were, but as I’m heterosexual the proposition made me quite uncomfortable and so I declined. This experience damaged the glimmering veil of intrigue I had of Skip and strengthened my doubts. I did still speak with him, though, and he eventually offered to help me get a job up in LA and would let me live with him while I got on my feet. I was in need of employment at the time so I agreed. However, fate, it seems, was determined to prevent me from mingling with the skipper any further. To make a long story short I fucked up royally in the process of an employment acquisition of which he had supposedly gone to great lengths to set me up with. Since then, I’ve barely communicated with him and have lost his number. Although 99% of the crap he spouted about growing up next to Charles Lindbergh and the CIA and being butt buddies with Kelly Slater was probably bullshit, it was a fun experience and it was nice to have such a colorful person take interest in me. Especially since at the time I was painfully shy. Who knows, maybe that’s what he looks for in young guys. Anyway, good luck and have fun to anyone who runs into him and for the love of god be cautious.
