General Ballduster McSoulpatch Memorial Stolen Valor Tournament Nomination Thread

Well, looks like in the next couple of weeks we’ll get a ruling on Stolen Valor from the Supreme Court, and no matter which way they go, it will be vital that we give these dirtbags the notoriety they have worked so hard to earn. If the Supremes go our way, this tourney will provide a good list of folks to go after. If the Supremes pull a Jonathan Turdley, then we need to point out how these folks actually harm true veterans, and how their lies are never of the “picking up chicks in a bar” variety.

So, let’s get it on.

For nominations, please follow the following format. 1 nomination per comment if you would.

Name (the persons actual name.)
Link (some link to this person’s perfidy, whether on TAH or elsewhere.)
Nickname (“Gunny Driveway” for example)
State (What state will this asshat be representing)

Obviously the two top seeds are Poe and Mailahn, but someone should nominate them in here at some point. We are hoping to get a full complement of 64 for this one. The Tourney will take a little longer to materialize this time, since I was to upgrade how we portray each of the “contestants.” (Which is to say I need to con Sniper into photoshops.)

Go get ’em boys.

NOTE: Contestants in the Jesse MacBeth Stolen Valor Tournament not eligible for re-nomination without some superseding stolen valor event. (If Zombie Ballduster comes back to claim the MOH, this second untruth will re-eligibilize him.)

  1. Gotta go with Poe for a Number One seed.

And TSO, seems that we’ve had a plethora of these douchebags of late. Will we limit the field to 32, up it to 64, or have an “NIT” type for the phonies that just weren’t up to par to play with the big kids?

  2. Poe disgusted me more than anything. I can’t even laugh at him. I just wanted to curb stomp him. Grrrrrr.

  3. “Phony Tony Trimble”- Green Beret Medic, SEAL- hero of everyone at Grady Hospital in Atlanta! Left Grady and tried to get his job back but was “outed.”

This guy is a piece of work!

“I was a Team Medical NCO for Company A 1/20th Special Forces Group (Airborne) for 12 years. For the polite, civilized folk..I wore a Green Beret. It was a blast!”

Trimble, a paramedic with thirty-three years of experience, wasn’t rattled. After all, the former Army medic and Green Beret who received his basic EMT license at sixteen had worked other major emergencies, including the 1996 Centennial Olympic Park bombing…..

I confronted Trimble years ago about his lies to others about his “Green Beret” exploits. This was in 1994 at the Georgia Public Safety Training Center in Forsyth , Georgia . Trimble continues to lie and steal the identity of others who really did serve and went through and graduated from the arduous training. Trimble’s lies are known as the ”Stolen Valor Syndrome.”

    LATER:

After I confronted Trimble about his Special Forces exploits in Iraq he “quieted” that portion for a while, then started telling people he was a SEAL. After 9/11 he became a “Green Beret” again.

Very interesting! In 1991, Mr. Trimble went through our Special Forces Assessment and Selection program, but failed the physical fitness test. Therefore, he was not selected to attend the Special Forces Qualification Course, which you must complete to earn the Green Beret. Our Academic Records Office verified this information.

    Thank you,

  4. What Nicki (#1) said-just look at the picture in her link!

Ok, I realize that the seriousness of others will overtake him here, but “the impaler” has gotta win the the most amusing runner-up.

  5. I’ll have to start off with my three dirtbags I had the pleasure of exposing.

    Jason “Un”Truitt
    https://www.azuse.cloud/?p=28516
    PrisonSEAL
    California/Colorado

    Dave Groves

    Tiger Hunter
    Utah
*Special Category as Stolen Valor Father of the Year…His own son posted on TAH that he was a dirtbag

    Bob Duft
    https://www.azuse.cloud/?p=27398
    Bolivian Mouse
    Indiana

But honestly, my favorite(even though I really hate Poe) has to be
    Bill Brockbrader
    https://www.azuse.cloud/?p=29727
    PsychicSEAL
    Idaho? Area 51? Mars?
C’mon the guy claims he was trained by Aliens at area 51!

  6. Poe’s a strong one to win it all this year.

Though he might actually like that attention too.

  7. Eh, Poe’s got national attention and he is quite pathetic, but not nearly as pathetic nor equally outrageous as Ron the mailman. Gunny Driveway FTW!!!

  8. My nominations apparently are getting eaten as spam or something. Either that or they are going to suddenly show up here posted five times.

I gotta go with: Melanie Evalena Gutermuth (disabled Vet who never made it out of Basic) and Tiffany Ginger (the eye candy SPC SGT (who I think is an SGT now).

  9. Well, most of the best are already taken. Still, I might be able to come up with a couple that probably won’t go too far (if they make the “field” at all).

    Name: Whelan, Skyler
    Douchebaggery: https://www.azuse.cloud/?p=29559
    Nickname: “Double-Dipper”
    State: Arizona

Special Mention: fake USMC plus fake cop, two different instances.

  10. Kyle Barwan didn’t win last year when he ran as a Captain, but he is back again, this time as a Warrant officer. Presently in jail for fraud, with the FBI,(Army), waiting outside the jail to pick him up when they turn him out.
This flake and a couple of his buddies are my personal whipping toys. Hang him high.

  11. #1, #21, wouldn’t it be enough if TSO would post the winners in the “campaign slogan/photoshop” contest…

    https://www.azuse.cloud/?p=27218

…and not give this fellow two honors?

(I mean, I assume Sniper won in both categories but I want to see the funny stuff.)

‘course if he did and I missed it, then I’m going to feel silly, but then I’ll get a link to something hilarious – I’ll take that trade.

  12. I need a ruling from the judges booth. What is the cutoff date for nominations? I have a pending stolen valor case that Mary at POW Network is waiting on the DD214. When she posts that clown, it will make Poe look like Audie Murphy.

  13. @ 33. I’m with Hondo. I gotta root for my homey even if I didn’t get to go kick his poser @$$! Although Gunny Driveway is a sentimental favorite.

  14. Jane Parkhurst
    http://novato.patch.com/articles/a-visit-with-novato-s-own-g-i-jane
    The ‘Real’ GI Jane
    Novato, CA

“Jane left her job as a small town police officer in 1990, at the start of Operation Desert Storm. The male-only military occupational skills training she underwent, as depicted in the ’97 film starring Demi Moore, came four years later when she was 35 years old. She was the first woman to complete the training.”

“The movie was already made before Parkhurst knew anything about it. Yet it was clearly inspired by her story and acknowledged as so by the Army after the fact.

With a shrug, she say, “You can’t sue the Army.”

According to Parkhurst, 80 percent of the film is “right on,” down to things she said and photographs from her file. There was no use of double standards in her training, and the scene in which she shaves her head in an empty barbershop is accurate.”

  15. @42
Holy Smokes, I somehow missed that whole thread about the phony GI Jane in March. I can’t tell if she is trying to be this year’s version of Jeff “Rock” Harris with phony movie conultant claim….or is she trying to be this year’s version of Lesbian Pirate
