The 1st Cav went from Benning to Korea to Vietnam.I served in 77th arty Jan-dec 1964.
Actually, 1st Cav’s colors came from Korea to Fort Benning in 1965. 2d IDs colors went from Benning to Korea in 1965. The reflagged 1st Cav went straight to Vietnam in Aug. 1965.
