I do not believe any part of the uniform should be worn unless it is worn properly. I know I worked to hard to earn the right to be a D.I. yes that is correct D.I. Drill Instructor not Drill Sgt. Oh yes and in this article I guess someone did not do his home work. I saw for one of the reasons “Training post in front of all of those impressionable recruits” unless things have changed there are no recruits within a mile or more of the main gate they se it when they come aboard to start training and then again when they leave after boot training.
