Unfortunately, he’s just another sad case of fraud-on-legs. I don’t know if these idiots do it for the attention or what (it seems a lot of trouble to go to just to get a couple of free beers), but above all it is singularly insulting to those of us who have actually served. If he weren’t so old and silly, he’d be worthy of a good smack in the mouth! He’s wearing the cap badge of the Princess Patricia’s Canadian Light Infantry (PPCLI), an excellent unit that I was attached to in Afghanistan and I can say with absolute confidence that no self-respecting “Patricia” (or any other Canadian soldier for that matter)would shape their beret like that. He looks like bloody Benny Hill for goodness’ sake! It’s just sad! He should be publicly shamed into getting rid of those phony uniforms and never wearing them again.
